Herausragend, außergewöhnlich
Dieses Ferienhaus ist mit Abstand das beste, das wir je bei FeWo direkt gemietet hatten. Ein ganzes Anwesen, mit Liebe zum Detail saniert und um Anbauten modern stilvoll ergänzt. Herausragend war für uns die modern gehobene Atmosphäre, unzählige Bücher und der persönliche, sehr herzliche Empfang der Gastgeber. Wir wollten am Ende eines Irlandurlaubs mit der Familie 3 Tage in Ruhe entspannen und genau dafür ist das Haus perfekt geeignet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the owner we felt welcome, relaxed and happy to be there. Ballinaharda is beautiful….. tastefully decorated , immaculately kept, amazing library, pretty views and very comfortable…. with every amenity thought through! It’s an inspirational place and we would love to return one day. Ulrich is a gracious host!

Our family of 8 adults and 2 young children spent a week at this wonderful restored farmhouse property in County Waterford outside Dungarvan. Nestled among fields of corn and grazing cows with spectacular coastal views. The location is somewhat remote and offers lots of privacy. Hosts Ulrich and Ruth were very welcoming and were available to answer any questions. We would glad stay here again.

Family celebration in Cork
We loved this home and would eagerly visit again. Comfortable bedrooms, bright kitchen and modern baths. The views and surrounding farmland were exquisite. Our host Ulrich was an absolute pleasure to rent from. He checked in on us and made us feel at home. We had a lovely time using this house as a home base for our travels from Cork to Waterford.

Very spacious retreat for our multi-generational group. Beds are quite comfortable & kitchens are well stocked for easy meal prep. Ulrich & Ruth met us upon arrival and we’re most helpful during our stay. This home is highly recommended for your stay in Dungarvan!

This is an old farmhouse with outhouses converted into an amazing property with lots of space, a wonderful view of the sea, two very well equipped kitchens and underfloor heating - ideal for our family reunion. It's not far from large beaches and pretty villages and towns. Highly recommended!

Magical Holiday Hospitality
If you are looking for a an intimate experience to connect with family, friends or special occasions this is the place to stay. Urlich was amazing and made sure all of our needs were met and more. Hands on hospitality and the house is magical. The views are one of a kind and it is a very special place! I will be coming back again and again! We will never forget the time we spent there and the hospitality! This is a five star setting for everyone! If you are visiting Ireland do not miss this spectacular setting!

Stunning property and wonderful owners
In September, 2019 we brought a group of 6 athletes and 2 coaches from Canada to Dungarvan for a tournament. We stayed at Ballinaharda; the wonderful home of Ruth and Ulrich. The home is truly spectacular. Ballinaharda was so much more than we expected. The 5 rooms are very large and the common areas are huge. Having 4 bathrooms was such a treat. The home easily accommodated our group and it was easy to find some quiet space for yourself when you needed it. We had our meals together in the red kitchen and shared time together in the huge living room and library. The attention to detail in this property really sets it apart. Ballinaharda should really be featured on a television show. The home is perfect for a family reunion, retreat, or any group of 10 people or so. Ballinaharda is a vacation destination itself. Ruth and Ulrich explained the history of the property and showed us pictures of the home's conversion. You really are living in history at Ballinaharda. You can see the pride that Ruth and Ulrich have in this unique property. The landscape around Ballinaharda is stunning. It was everything we imagined the Irish countryside to be. The home is set a few minutes drive from Dungarvan in a lush, rural area on the coast. The views are stunning. Treat yourself and sit in the courtyard with a coffee or tea and watch the sunrise. It is awesome. Ballinaharda is surrounded by small farms, hedge rows, and a hundred different shades of green. The sea is literally right outside your window. Walk, run, or bike down the country roads and take in the awesome vistas including the highest lighthouse in Ireland. You can see it from your window. Ruth and Ulrich were very attentive hosts. They were kind and caring and genuinely concerned about every detail of our stay. They were at the property to meet us and stopped by to say farewell. They ensured we were settled and gave us wonderful insight and tips about the area. They even stopped in at the tournament to cheer us on. They were always very quick to reply to our e-mails from our first inquiry several months earlier. Our family has rented homes through VRBO and other sites about 20 or 25 times throughout the world. I can say without exaggeration that this was the best home and the best hosts we have ever come across. You can rent this property with confidence. You will love it. Thank you Ruth and Ulrich.
