„My husband and I stayed for a week. The cottage has great scenery and it was lovely walking on the property. It was incredibly peaceful on rainy days, and the stars were breath taking on clear nights. The owner was kind enough to volunteer bringing in an AC unit for unseasonably warm nights. Tucked back away from the roadway in the middle of an open field, this place give ample opportunity for peace and quiet. 15 minutes away from Stone Mountain and a few minutes away from downtown Elkin. „My family enjoyed this property immensely. A secluded cabin in the woods but with all the comforts of home made everyone happy. My husband enjoyed fishing in the river while the kid explored the shoreline and rock hunted. We made outdoor campfires and s’mores, and snuggled up by the indoor fireplace with books. Be aware it is a long driveway, so any plans out and about take a bit longer. The Food Lion in Millers Creek is about a 20 minute drive. “
