„Listing says it’s walkable, but it’s probably a good 20 minute walk and it’s not ideal with kids because of traffic once you get into Acadia. It is a short drive to Jordan pond house though. Our mattress was from 2007 and we did not sleep good at all because of it. Not enough seats for 4 to relax in living room after a long day of hiking either. Very responsive host so that was a positive.“

„Very, and I mean VERY quiet. The only thing we saw nearby were three deer that were in the yard and the woods next door, and we saw them nearly every day. And of course the birds! VERY close to the ocean. We were lucky when we were there as the ferry and a lot of restaurants close for the season, the following week.
