„Um 17:00 war der Zugang zur Rezeption geschlossen, man musste das Check-In bei einem kleinen Fenster ausserhalb des Gebäudes machen. Das Deposit war $ 100 und wurde erst nach 8 Tagen wieder gutgeschrieben. Der angebotene Kaffee am morgen war nicht vor 09:00 verfügbar, was für uns zu spät war. Es hatte ein paar "spezielle Gäste" in diesem Hotel. Für eine Übernachtung war es gerade noch okay.“

„Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. The hotel itself is not new but the room was very clean with updated furniture and floors. It is obvious the owners take care of it. I was only there for one night with an early morning appointment so can't say much about the surrounding area other than it was convenient to my appointment.“

„This property is absolutely beautiful and the home is well appointed as well as charming. It literally is a working farm on the Chesapeake Bay which is a wonderful experience. You will enjoy restful quiet evenings sitting at the outdoor fire while star gazing and listening to the wildlife. „The Salty Sailor was an excellent, affordable, and pet friendly rental. Nice location on ridge rd next to Mr Baldys which is a must to try if you stay here. The rooms are a bit older but maintained well. I didn’t experience any of the conditions that were listed in the other reviews here. We would certainly stay here again.“

„Our second time staying at the house. We absolutely love the property and all its surrounding wildlife. Enjoyed spending time hiking, fishing, crabbing, and watching eagles flying over the water. The house is clean and well stocked, and the game room is a great place to spend time in the evenings or rainy days. The hosts are attentive and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again!“
