Dies ist ein idealer Ort, um Ihre ganze Familie zusammen zu bringen
zusammen für einen Wochenendausflug oder um das Besondere zu feiern
Ereignisse in Ihrem Familienleben. Das Herrenhaus ist ideal zu Haus
Eine kleine Hochzeitsfeier und der Rasen können die Kulisse sein
für eine Open-Air-Hochzeitszeremonie. Es kann auch eine
Geschäftstreffen, Personalrückzug oder Firmenversammlung.

Es gibt viele gemütliche Plätze im Haus oder
Finden Sie einen draußen auf der Veranda mit Blick auf die grünen
Rasen und hohe Bäume. Sie können auch einen Spaziergang in der historischen machen
Friedhof. Das Tor befindet sich in den Hecken unterhalb der Garage. Bummel
Innenstadt und erkunden Sie die Straßen einer viktorianischen Industriestadt.
Der Ashuwillticook-Radweg führt 18 km in Richtung Süden
Schließlich folgt man dem Hoosic River, durchquert das Feuchtgebiet und umgeht den Cheshire-Stausee. Es ist größtenteils flach, weil es der ehemaligen Eisenbahnstrecke folgt.
In der Stadt gibt es ein paar kleine Museen und historische Stätten:

Incredible property
We held a family reunion here and our only regret was that we didn’t plan for a longer stay. It was like having a boutique hotel all to ourselves. Beautiful house, well-stocked updated kitchen, comfortable beds, good location. A real gem.

Somewhere in Time
If you have ever watched the Christoper Reeve and Jane Seymour movie Somewhere in Time then you will truly appreciate the artistic and architectural beauty of this home. Multiple period rooms to recline in and escape to with multiple clean and comfortable sleeping quarters. We spent evenings on the large veranda porch and morning coffee on the second floor porch overlooking the mature grounds. Being located in the heart of the Berkshires, access to nature and culture is easy. You can feel the manager Jill’s heart and soul in the Manor and your experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property and host!!!
The Manor was a great facility. Our group had an amazing weekend celebrating my son's college graduation. Everyone who stayed with us slept well and had plenty of "private" space. We hosted dinners for up to 21 people with ease. We all fit comfortably in the dining room, with some creative table arrangements. There was plenty of space in the various reception rooms, porches, etc. for people to chill, chat, relax, or snooze before dinner. Jill was a great host - amazingly prompt, flexible and considerate. If I had any complaint, it would be that the place could use a few larger pots and pans - there are dishes, silverware and glasses for up to 40 for dinner (maybe even more, but I didn't check all the cupboards), but I was a bit strapped when making a bowl of pasta for 15 or boiling a few lobsters. It also requires a bit of persistence to find. Jill's directions are spot on - but it wasn't clear to me that it was the old rectory until we got there. I think all of our staying and dining guests had a bit of an issue finding it, but that could be an age thing. Be patient - it is worth what you find at the end of the road!!! Many thanks, Jill & co.

Family Celebration
This is an amazing property from sledding down the front lawn to playing hide and seek throughout the house. It’s perfect for a family gathering. The manager is a great communicator. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need from baking to entertaining!

Perfect for large family gathering
This interesting and spacious home allowed plenty of room for us to spread out and unwind. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare our traditional early family Thanksgiving feast. Whether dining al fresco on the porch, in the formal dining room or enjoying a quiet cup of tea in the kitchen, it felt quite homey. Everyone enjoyed the comfortable mattresses and pillows as well as plenty of fresh towels. The property manager Jill was wonderful and kindly allowed us a later check out, which accommodated napping kiddos! Thank you for offering this wonderful rental!

We were up to attend a wedding! There were 9 of us and we all fir with no issues whatsoever. Walking distance to food and shops. So much space where some of the group were in one sitting room and the rest in another. Great as we had from 80-21 year age range.

Our group of six friends gathered from all over the country at The Manor to celebrate a special reunion weekend. The property was spacious, well equipped, and as described. A gorgeous summer getaway
We stayed here for a long weekend while in town for a wedding. The photos don't do this place justice! It's so lovely and has so much space both inside and out. We especially enjoyed the large porch for outdoor visiting & spent a wonderful time playing board games, cooking together, & enjoying Adams and North Adams. Jill was responsive, helpful, and so kind. Can't recommend it enough, especially if you (like us!) love visiting the Mass MOCA.

College Roommates Reunion
Our group ranging from a family with teens, couples, and individuals were very comfortably accommodated. There were many spaces where small and large groups can gather - the front porch was a favorite. The dining group was large enough for a sit-down meal. The kitchen met the standards for the fussy chefs. Activities included hiking, biking, museum hopping and walking on the rail trail. A hidden gem is the thyme-filled meadow in the adjacent historic cemetery . A good time was had by all.

Beautiful Historic House!
Wow! A beautiful historic house that perfectly met our needs. My first impression was that it just keeps on going - plenty big enough for all 10 of us to both get away from each other when we wanted and to gather when we wanted. Kitchen was great…we cooked and cooked. Then the dining room table was big enough for all of us to gather…perfect for a great family reunion. Held all our parents children, grandchildren and their significant others. Thank you to Jill for making it all easy.

Absolutely Amazing!
The photos and listing do not do this property justice! It is beautiful and expansive--we absolutely loved staying here! The house is so big with so much space to spread out for the entire group. Everything in the house was so clean and organized and we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. Each bedroom had comfortable beds and pillows, and even the smaller bedrooms had plenty of space for everyone's things. The front porch was my favorite place to relax and take it all in, especially early in the morning. The upstairs screened in porch was also a favorite hang out spot! The kids loved running around the big yard out front. The kitchen had everything we needed and the big dining room table was perfect for our large group! Jill was super helpful, communicative, and the check in/out process was easy and smooth! I'd definitely stay here again when we are back in town.

We loved this property!! The property manager, Jill, was wonderful leading up to our stay—gave us several restaurant recommendations and links to points of interest. The region is so great! We loved the house and all the rooms! There were extra towels, blankets and pillows! It was clean and well-cared for. We used the outside grill for our Saturday evening meal—there were 10 of us! All-in-all, it was a very welcome getaway for our group!!

Family Wedding
Awesome best describes our experience this past weekend! 11 of us stayed at the Manor and all of us give it a solid thumbs up 👍. Jill was available, communicated thoroughly and was flexible as well. We were in town for a family wedding up in Florida, MA and happily had a place where we could all stay together and also have local family over to visit. We would highly recommend!

Impressessions can mislead you.
Driving via rt 18S to enter Adams, we were not impressed and wondering whether we made the right choices.-Doubts!! After experiencing the serenity of the property, we loved it, felt safe. House was equipped with more toiletries supplies, extra clean towels, clean bathrooms, and more space than we anticipated. we will definitely recommend to hickers and nature lovers.

A wonderful week away
Seven friends decided to have a get away for a week and when we found this beautiful seven bedroom home, we knew it was right for us. The house is well equipped for visitors with a very lovely large porch. Jill was so kind to us and was always available should we need her. I would highly recommend this house. There are a number of close by activities including Mt. Greylock, N. Adams, Williamstown, Susan B. Anthony's home and museum right in Adams, Naumkeag Mansion, the marble quarry with a natural bridge, Mass MOCA and The Mount, home of Edith Wharton.

We were having a small wedding in Jill's house. It satisfies everything, a lot of rooms for attendees to stay over, an outdoor open space that is partly visualizable from the street, a really nice big room for dining. All our friends enjoyed it. It is perfect.

Elegant and comfortable house
We rented this huge, beautiful house for a graduation party and for extended family to spend time together. We'd hoped to have the party outside, but when it was cold and rainy on the big day the house easily accommodated all 30 of us. The beds are really comfortable and everyone in our party slept well. One great 'extra' not mentioned in the description: the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail is a five-minute walk from the house! (Nice for walking, running or biking.) Kudos to Jill for her quick responses to all of our questions and feedback.

This property is beautiful and incredibly well equipped. The outside and screened second floor porch are delightful! It's a block from a long flat paved rail trail and 15 to 20 minutes from multiple shorter and longer hikes, waterfalls, marble quarry, natural bridge...
