Worst experience ever
My booking got cancelled by the host on the day that I was about to arrive. Can you imagine all the stress that my family and I had been through trying to find a place to stay at the last minute? My holiday became a nightmare. Inadequate communication from the host, it always me trying to contact the host a day before the arrival date and on the day (we were driving from Melbourne to Adelaide). I tried to call many time but the host did not answer the phone and after sending text messages and screenshot my booking reference, I got a text replying that I cannot stay at the accommodation that I booked and paid for. There was no cancellation notice or communication from Stayz about this. Then I called to their customer support line but the operators (yes I call twice and met with two different operators, I was that desperate) were unable to assist in any way other than saying that they would send email regarding the refund which I still have not received that email nor my refund yet after almost 1 week from that day. Now I am waiting to see how Stayz would resolve this before further complain is lodged.
