Gut: Personal & Service und Zustand der Unterkunft
Verbesserungswürdig: Komfort des Zimmers
reality lower to our expectations
We were about 20 days in Villa Italiana and out of the 4 studios that there are in the villa they gave us the worst, as it was just in front of the community area, it was next to the car parking, it was just in front of the entrance to the villa and in the access area to go to Rosa's house (owner of the villa). To all this, must be added that the bed was small, the fact that there was a wooden structure prevented from laying down properly if your height is more than 1.80; and that the terraces are very closed one to the others what means less intimacy besides inhaling all the smoke of tobacco if the neighbours are smokers preventing from being out and enjoying the terrace. The first day we spoke to Rosa and exposed our situation as we saw an empty studio which was in a better place than ours, but she didn't swap studios arguing that we woluld be fine with no noise in the one we were. Three days later we spoke again with her to swap studios but again we got a negative answer stating there was nothing she could do, that it was impossible to swap studios.
Only when we contacted Expedia exposing our situation, the owner decided to swap studios. In the end, we only had one week to be a bit quiet and relaxed, except the fact of swalling tobacco smoke if the neighbours smoke.
In relation to the bed we had to take off the mattress from the wooden structure, which we put in vertical next to the wall and put the mattress on the floor, in order to fit in it and get some sleep.
