Our room had a heating back/cooling unit that started buzzing and vibrating the room from 2 AM to 5 AM. Needless to say, it kept us up all night. Upon checkout, we told the desk clerk and she said that was a common issue with that room for other guests. No refund or credit was offered. We brought it to the attention of the manager and he never responded a few days later, we called and the manager finally talked to us. His response was… The Clark should not have told you that and I was not aware that other guests complained. Regardless, there was a major issue in our room with a faulty heating unit. This unit cost us an entire night sleep on our last night of a three day stay. In addition, we don’t normally use the breakfast. But our last day we went down for coffee and the server was wrapping up cinnamon buns and plastic. I asked her if I could have one, and she said no… They are for tomorrow. I don’t think it’s acceptable to put food out in view of guests and not have it available to them. Imagine having guests at your house and someone asked for food that’s out and you tell them it’s for tomorrow. Bizarre to say the least.
