Mark and Jade were attentive, accommodating hosts and considerate enough to lend me an extension cord for the car engine heater as well as allow me to add on an additional night to my stay. „Very cozy, comfortable and well appointed apartment in a larger log house. Private parking spot right by the entrance. Very well maintained. Host is well organized and friendly. Skiing requires a short drive to the base of the lifts (would be walkable if not for the icy roads). Generally very good experience!“

„We stayed for three nights. We cooked and baked there. All the amenities we needed were available in the kitchen. Also had laundry. Very clean and easy access from airport and to town. If you are a light sleeper check if there are small children next door for VRBO. Neighbors can be heard from living room. But I didn’t notice it from bedroom. However when I notified the host she immediately called them and it quieted down. Plus the beds are so comfortable I heard nothing once I was in bed. Easy ...

It was easy to access, and I received excellent instructions for gaining entry and for checking out. It is not, however, especially well-insulated for sound (lots of noise from neighboring apartment with baby crying and high-pitched metallic squeal coming from neighboring residence on windier days, someone running a power drill at 11:30 pm). „Nothing but positives to communicate. Beautiful, clean, and well appointed property. Beautiful views of the bay, spit, and mountains across the bay from HUGE windows in both the main bedroom and living room. My wife and I found the vista mesmerizing. Can't describe how much time I spent just looking out those windows. Even when it was raining out, watching the clouds drift over the bay was beautiful. Five minute drive to anywhere in Homer.
