Wir möchten unser wunderschön restauriertes historisches Haus für Ihre Erholung, Entspannung und Genuss präsentieren. Dieses Haus verfügt über alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten und bewahrt gleichzeitig den Charme und den Charakter eines Backsteinbungalows aus den 1920er Jahren. Es ist offen und luftig mit schöner Aussicht aus jedem Fenster. Dieses Haus verfügt über komfortable Schlafmöglichkeiten für 6 Personen mit 2 Kingsize-Betten und einem Queensize-Schlafsofa. Das Badezimmer wurde kürzlich renoviert und verfügt über eine Regendusche. Der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer mit Gaskamin, formellem Esszimmer und Frühstücksecke neben der Küche ist auf den Michigansee, den Ahnapee River und den Algoma Marina gerichtet. Einige der wunderbaren Dinge, die Algoma zu bieten hat, sind: Schwimmen am wunderschönen Crescent Beach am Lake Michigan, Wandern, Radfahren, Kanufahren, Angeln, Jagen, Wein- und Bierverkostungen, erstklassiges Essen, 5 bis 7 Gehminuten vom Haus, und die erstaunliche North Water Street Bakery ist zwei Türen entfernt. Wir sind nur 45 Autominuten von Lambeau Field entfernt, der Heimat der berühmten Fußballmannschaft der Green Bay Packers. Sturgeon Bay ist 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und das Beste von Door County ist eine einstündige Autofahrt für einen großartigen Tagesausflug. Der Begehbarkeitsfaktor ist für alles in Algoma hervorragend. Wir lieben dieses Haus wirklich und wissen, dass Sie es auch werden.

Spacious clean accommodations
This trip started out as a couples trip to the Wet Whistle wine fest but evolved into a women’s trip instead. The location is close to downtown, ground zero to a great bar and bakery but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The home had ample rooms and common areas and was very spacious and clean. The hosts did a very good job communicating with us. We would definitely stay there again and think it was a great value.

Home away from home
We enjoyed staying here for our second time now! The home is very clean and accommodated us 8 adults comfortably. Restaurants are close by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Algoma is a lovely small fishing town that we enjoy coming to and having this wonderful place to stay is a great bonus! bonus!

End-of-Summer Vacation Getaway
Catherine and Rob are wonderful hosts. They are very responsive. The home is charming and spacious on the inside and offers nice interior amenities. The view of the lake is obscured through buildings and power lines - I would probably say it is more lake view than lakeside. The 10 minute walk to the lake/beach is enjoyable in the town of Algoma. The outside area doesn’t offer a place to sit and relax - there is a large grass area down from the home that you could entertain a large gathering but its location doesn’t make for a relaxing area. On a side note (nothing to do with the home) Algoma is more of a long weekend getaway - most things are closed Monday and Tuesday and several are closed on Wednesday’s and even Sunday’s. There is a cute little bakery/cafe/ice cream shop down the street from the home that is wonderful.

Annual Fishing Trip
Great place to stay, my family started doing an annual fishing trip and this was perfect for us coming from all over the state. The house was beautifully furnished, very clean and well maintained. There was great communication with the hosts and everyone really enjoyed the stay. The only suggestion that I may have is having one of the bedrooms converted to a couple of twin beds. But that is just a suggestion and we are going to be staying again for our trip next year! Thank you again Rob and Cathy for the wonderful experience.

Or son got married over the weekend and we booked this home because it had everything we needed and enough room for our family to stay together. The property was very well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the shower! The house is well stocked . The he owners are friendly and our communication with them always had a prompt response. Absolutely Perfect!!
The hosts, Cathy and Rob, are quick to respond, and very accommodating, although we really had no issues to resolve! The home was beautifully furnished, very clean, and very well stocked with everything you would need. My sisters and I brought our 90 year old mom back to her hometown for 3 days. Girlfriends Lakeside retreat
Our group of friends stayed at this cozy Lakeside retreat. It was wonderful having four bedrooms, so each person got their own room. Accommodations were tidy upon arrival with ample parking for three cars. There was plenty of linen, blankets, and towels. The home was nicely decorated and a pleasant environment. It was a great getaway to a small town where we spent most of the day, snacking and enjoying each other’s company. There may have been a glass of wine or two shared too. We went on a walk into town and visited a few boutiques. Then we had lunch at a wonderful place with white linen tablecloths. We had a wonderful time making memories of our deep friendship. Thank you Cathy and Rob!

Algoma is a quiet town a short distance to Door county. The house is located with a wonderful bakery down the street and restaurants and shops to explore. Crescent Board Walk is a beautiful destination for a morning walk. The kitchen and dining room worked well for meals and playing games.

Good - suggesting some improvements
Overall very good. However little disappointed - because there was no A/C. One BR with office desk got very warm - difficult to sleep. The house is very well updated & nice. We like the rain shower in the Bath room. Additionally all of us believe that the windows should be updated - because very hard to open & very old. The other improvement we can suggest is lockable bath room doors. Beds were very good & comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable stay! Great location!
This home was very comfortable. It was easy to get everywhere on foot and explore lovely Algoma. A very well-supplied kitchen made it feel like home. Fresh coffee beans! The four bedrooms are spacious and comfortably set up with a lot of privacy. The 2 bathrooms were also spacious and made it convenient. We especially enjoyed the cozy livingroom and watched movies together from the couch. We were disappointed that we could not change the checkout time...it is quite early to be ending a weekend visit. We intend to return next year. Thank you!

Door County family vacation
Beautiful home, absolutely immaculate, great location. Plenty of space for a family of six to spread out. The house and kitchen are very well equipped, we cooked quite a few meals at home. Loved the walk in shower for our tall boys and used washer and dryer quite a bit. Great in town location, very walkable to all things Algoma. Just a short drive to Door County and all it has to offer. Plenty to do in town too. Check out the bakery/ice cream shop just steps away from the house. Von Stiehl winery tour is worth it. The public beach is great, plenty of room to spread out, volleyball nets, boardwalk and lighting. Our boys played the disc golf course several times. Hotel Stebbens Friday night fish fry was yummy. The Salty Seagull mini golf course in Sturgeon Bay is fun.
