„The Haines Shoe House is am incredible experience for all ages. Our family group age range was 5-70. We all enjoyed our stay. Lots of things to do in the area. House was meticulously maintained and furnished. Campfire under the stars and hot tub great addition to our stay. “

„Property was as described just lacking additional information. The property was just as pictured with the exception of access to the bedroom. The steps to the bedroom are very narrow and steep with a difficult landing at the top. Coming down the stairs takes some cautious negotiation as the railing does not go to the top of the stairs. The unit was attached to the main house but this did not seem to be an issue. Also there is an abundance of books to read and a beautiful view out back of the ...

„Our stay at Betty’s house was absolutely wonderful! The pictures of the home do not do it justice!! The property is easy to find and so beautiful inside. We had 6 ladies on our shopping trip and there was so much space. Lots of space to all sit together on the sofa and chat. The property managers were friendly and easy to work with. We were excitedly planning an annual trip to Betty’s house we had such a great stay!!! “

Unfortunately we were here for only one night - we would have loved to explore more of the historic district. We at at Annie Bailey's- a great Irish Pub. Picked up a few things at BUiLDiNG Character- a great gift and antique store. “

„The cabin was cozy and only a few minutes from Gettysburg. Tami and Greg were so hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. It's a wonderful place to stay!“

„The property was immaculately clean and very well appointed. My friends used it as a central location while we were attending a convention in Harrisburg and is served us really well. The only small ding on an otherwise really perfect property is that parking is tough. This isn't the owner's fault of course but it's worth mentioning that if you're commuting by car you will need to carefully check all posted signage.“

„This home is beautiful and very homey. They offer a lot of different steaming services instead of cable which was great for us, the owners communicated with us very quickly and were always kind and friendly, and the home was very clean. The only downside was they don’t have a driveway so it’s only street parking. But we only had a problem finding parking one time and we’ve stayed at this home twice. Highly recommend this home!“

„Our stay in downtown Lancaster at the row house was good. Location was convenient and walkable to most areas of interest. Communication with host was quick and very responsive. House was cute and had plenty of towels and needed accessories and kitchen ware. Queen beds very comfortable. Note: Stairs to second floor quite steep and uneven if you have any mobility issues. It was great to have a designated parking area for our car. “

„We rented this house for 4 nights while visiting family and exploring Lancaster County. The house was very clean and well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed watching the owner feed his chickens in the morning and playing on the tire swing. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat. “
