„Seems like they put minimal effort into these places. Did not feel much love went into the cabin. The curtains are useless and cabin 10 that we stayed in gets blinding sunlight into the cabin in the afternoon. We had to put a towel over the window to block it to watch tv. The windows don’t have screens so you can’t open a window to cool off without letting in bugs. The bed is like sleeping on a slab of granite. „We chose this house as my daughter’s senior family vacation before she moves to college and she chose the mountains. She chose the house herself via VRBO and we booked it based on the beautiful scenery and location and size. The house was not what the pictures reflected. it was in poor condition, used and abused by all the previous renters and not kept up. Cleaning surface was also subparcobwebs.“

„Nice well maintained beautiful cabin. ....... but the 5mi +- of dirt roads from Fairplay to the property are very rough and poorly maintained. We suggest access from the back side..... county road 1. it is not as bad as the Venture rd access..... that road is very bad. because of the poor access we would prob not go hear again. “

„Lookout Lodge is very beautiful cabin. If you are looking for a remote setting, this would be the place. It is a bit further out than expected and what the listing provided. Everything you needed for accommodations was there. However, it quite uncomfortable for sleeping and with lack of windows and curtains for the afternoon sun, it was extremely hot.“

„What a wonderful cabin! The owners have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The place was clean, quiet and welcoming. The pond and stream in the backyard was our favorite. Morning coffee in the cool mountain air watching the sun peek over the mountain. We didn’t see moose like we hoped for but were surprised to see a deer making his way by. Breckenridge was just a very short drive. Hands down will be back if we are lucky enough to make it back to Breckenridge.“

„We had a wonderful stay at the Peaceful Valley Lodge. The views were amazing, and the cabin was spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub was a treat on chilly evenings. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed many meals there. We would definitely stay here again. The location is great and very convenient to Breck.“

„The Chalet was everything listed and more! You DO need patience and good shocks to make the 15+ min drive up beautiful mountain roads to the property. Everything you can think of is provided- fully stocked kitchen and utensils. If I HAD to be picky I would have brought a comfy blanket from home to snuggle on the couch at night- but that’s about it! „We liked the fact that the property was mostly secluded, only 3 other homes near us, very quiet and peaceful. The dirt road is pretty rough and the driveway is kind of steep. The house was clean and well maintained. The gates going onto the porch need to be repaired. Some of the kitchen linens need to be laundered or replaced. My understanding was that there was a propane firepit that we could use to roast a hot dog, or make smores. The listing mentions it, but it was not present. We paid ...
