„We wanted a decent sized getaway home right on the water with a dock and this delivered! There ended up only being three of us there so there was plenty of room. The deck area around the back of the house is really large and we enjoyed our coffee out there. It would be a cool place for a family birthday party. We saw deer and a fox and wild turkeys. It is located back in a cove, but we caught lots of bluegill and a decent channel cat off the dock. We would definitely do it again. “

„The kids loved being right at the lake, swimming whenever they wanted to. In the house was plenty of room for the five of us and we found everything we needed. One star less for the relatively close neighbours and the loud weekend "traffic" on the lake. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed it a lot!“

„The location was outstanding! The loft was directly across the street from the capitol building from when Vandalia was the Illinois state capital and Abraham Lincoln a legislator there. We wandered over there and the docent was exceptional. The loft is truly IN town, so within easy walking distance of restaurants, the local distillery, pubs, shops, and points of interest. I had no qualms about anything related to the cleanliness of the property! It's a cute, quaint, well- decorated place. ...
