„We enjoyed the roominess of the house. The property was private and peaceful with lots of deer and a groundhog. The bedrooms were big and comfortable. The house and grounds need some TLC. It is too great of a place not to keep up with the little things. The light cover for the main kitchen light was hanging down when we got there and we could not get it back up. We put it to the right of the washer/dryer. We would stay here again.“

We booked 2 of the three locations on this property, The Gem (main house) and the Manor house for the bridal party. The location was perfect! „We came up to visit our oldest son & family that we havent seen in 5 yrs. All the grandkids loved it. They loved all the fishing that they did and by the bonfire. Very nice, beautiful, relaxing place. Has everything you need to get away. The sunsets and sunrise were awesome!!! Enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake and listening to the geese and their babies. We even seen deer. We will be back in the future to enjoy again. Thank you Ameila for opening up your beautiful cabin.“

„Spent the weekend at Terre Haute with friends from college. The home and grounds were beautiful! The host was fantastic and we appreciate the treat basket left out for us. The books were fantastic! It was very quiet and peaceful and I would definitely stay again. My only suggestions would be to offer a little more comfortable seating for just having coffee and catching up. Otherwise, thank you for a lovely stay.“

„We loved this location for a fishing trip. Lots to do nearby and many conveniences. Cabin was the perfect size for 2 people, but when we added our 21 year old, it was tight, especially for sleeping. The main bed creaked A LOT, and the pull out couch needs some attention. We were happy there was an air mattress that we could use. The owner was very responsive and we appreciated the later check out when we asked. Cabin is well taken care of 😊“
