„Just lost my wife to cancer and the family decided on a nice getaway. Mother in law ended up finding this place and I’m glad she did. The hospitality was amazing and the kids had a blast at the property especially the indoor pool. Everything we needed for a nice getaway was there and more as the property owner was always in contact and making sure we had what we needed at all times.“

„The owners were very helpful with our questions, plus really flexible and gracious with a couple of special requests we made. The house worked great for our family get together. The outdoor space directly associated with the house is minimal but there is a neighborhood gazebo across the street that was wonderful to sit and visit on a beautiful May afternoon. I would recommend the house and quiet location!“

„We stayed in this amazing property while exploring the Ames area and riding the Rail Explorers bikes in Boone. The house is beautifully decorated, well stocked and very clean. We had fun playing games at the large dining room table and enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. We had a wonderful time with great friends!“

„It was a family “girls weekend “. We all had a fabulous time. It was an extremely hot and humid weekend and the house stayed nice and cool. Steve’s house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife meandering through the backyard.“

„We felt very comfortable in this neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed at our fingertips. Check-in was simple and prompt; comfortable beds; lovely backyard. For visiting family in Ankeny, this gave us a perfect “home base”. We hope to find it available again next time!“

„I loved all of the historical information that was provided in the house. The house was very clean and comfortable. The beds were great and it was nice to control the temperature independently in the bedrooms. There were great snacks and the coffee bar was fun! Hope to stay here again, I highly recommend it!“

„Overall, really good. Great communication with owner. Inside was decorated nicely and was clean. Patio area was very nice. They may want to hire a better groundskeeper though. Weeds gave bad impression of outside. Overall it worked nicely for us.“

„Awesome house that’s well taken care of and accommodating. Wouldn’t hurt to spray for insects and put some ant traps down by the patio door. We noticed a couple of ants the first morning but with making sure everything stayed clean, we didn’t see any on our following nights.“

„The home was perfect! Very clean and well-maintained in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We only had 9 of us but there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space while also allowing us to spend of time together as a group. Plenty to do for all ages.
