Mitten in der City
Eine süsse, kleine Kuschelwohnung. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und superzentral. Man ist sofort in den 9 Straßen im Grachtenviertel und zu Fuß überall schnell. Ob Vondelpark, Museumsplein oder andere Sehenswürdigkeiten. Man braucht kein Auto und keine Tram. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hat tolle Tips. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Herrliche Tage im Grachtengordel
Wir haben Anfang Oktober 3 wunderbare Tage in Amsterdam verbracht. Und maßgeblich daran beteiligt war Steve und seine gemütliche Wohnung mitten im allerschönsten Teil der Altstadt. Perfekt gelegen für alle, die sich wie wir gern zu Fuß fortbewegen, ist die Wohnung ruhig und trotzdem zentral im Viertel „Neun Straßen“, wo man wirklich das Gefühl hat, in der Nachbarschaft der Amsterdamer zu wohnen. Die Zimmer sind hell und freundlich und total gemütlich, das Bett sehr bequem ,es gibt eine kleine Küche und ein sehr modernes und blitzsauberes Badezimmer. Das Schlafzimmer liegt zur Rückseite, wir haben absolut ruhig geschlafen. Das allerbeste aber war Steve, unser Gastgeber, der diesen Namen wirklich verdient, denn man fühlt sich pudelwohl und sehr willkommen bei ihm. Schon vor unserer Anreise hatten wir einen netten Kontakt und während unseres Aufenthaltes hat er uns genau die richtigen Tipps für unsere Unternehmungen, Frühstückslocations und Ideen gegeben. Spätanreise und Kofferparken waren überhaupt kein Problem. Daumen ganz nach oben für diesen tollen Spot in Amsterdam. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

What a wonderful place!
As extensive travelers, we often use VRBO for accommodations. I must say that Steve’s place has been one of the best. The space is everything he describes and more. Steve communicated so well from the start. From his directions to arrive as well as the time he spent checking us in to his home, was above and beyond. What a great location to the many beautiful sites of Amsterdam. I highly recommend this beautiful space.

The apartment is in a great location, with shops, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. My daughter and I felt very safe in the area. We also felt very much at home - the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, the front room was a great place to relax, nice shower and bathroom and all was scrupulous clean. Steve was a welcoming host who provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area and answered all my inquiries quickly and informatively. Checkin and checkout were seamless, and Steve was flexible with an early checkin as the apartment was available that day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Great host, space, location
Steve was just so helpful and communicative throughout the process. Gave us recommendations on restaurants, how to get places using public transportation, and answered any questions we had. The unit itself was amazingly large, warm, clean, and comfortable for our December travels. Loved that the living room area was in the front and had its own door so if it was loud at night (which it never was) then we can close it. Steve’s very thoughtful and had all the things we’d need to feel at home (including a good old coffee maker - not an espresso machine). Location was perfect. Cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping were minutes walk away. Would stay here again, and again, and again! Thank you Steve for your warm hospitality and lovely space.

This apartment is well-appointed and charming. The location is excellent. The host, Steve, was amazing at communicating and giving us helpful tips before and during our stay. Honeymoon suite
Amsterdam was a stop on our honeymoon trip, and this apartment was the perfect resting place. The location is unbeatable. The apt was much roomier than we’d expected, which was a treat. The host was so helpful w getting us oriented in the apartment and the city. He even saved us a ton of time by telling us about the anirport express bus. A great surprise - the washer and dryer. Yay, we were able to do laundry. Very happy about that. We highly recommend this location and host.

Stayed here, went to Paris for a few days, and then came back and stayed again. Both times were perfect. To tell you how nice it was staying here, I can give you a little story. I had left a shirt here the first stay, and upon our return it was waiting for us (laundered, folded, and next to a vase of flowers). I mean that's just nice. If you stay with Steve, he treats you quite well, and his apartment is delightful, cozy, comfortable, and in a great location.

Great host, great location, great city. Steve is very communicative, very helpful and really goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need. The place is close to a lot of interesting places around the city. The stairs are very steep, but that is very common in the city. Just know before you book if you have mobility issues. We were fine. We stayed 4 nights at the end of a 2 week trip. The owner provided excellent directions from the airport and met us on arrival. The flat had everything we needed, including laundry facilities which we ended up not needing. The owner made great recommendations for restaurants and check out was easy. A wonderful well equipt, quiet apartment
TOP MARKS go to Malenkas - the host . He responded quite quickly to all of our questions and provided us with many suggestions for places to eat, etc. The apartment is clean, well equipt conveniently located in the 9 streets area but is quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Taking Bus 397 from Schiphol to the apartment was easy and quick. We had a very good stay! Would recommend to others.

Wonderful Apartment in 9 Streets area
The apartment is in a charming ideal location with a canal just around the corner. It's away from the tourists area but close enough to visit them. The apartment is very clean and well equiped with all the amenities needed such as a nice little kitchen where we made breakfast every morning to start our days. Of note for those with mobility issues,there are a small steep set of stairs to enter the apartment which is typical of dutch homes. We however had zero problems with the stairs. Steve, the host is great and very helpful! He provides detailed instructions about the apartment and the city. All communications are handled easily & promptly. The Nine Streets neighborhood is a great location close to canals, shops and restaurants.Steve was very helpful meeting us, providing information about the property , neighborhood and wonderful restaurant information. Best stay and amazing location
My friend and I did a girls trip and we stayed at Steve's condo for 4 nights. Everything about it was fantastic. Steve was so accommodating with directions, meeting us at the properly to go over everything, recommendations on food and activities, and help with transit tips. He was always available for any assistance or questions. The property was spacious and we had everything we needed. The location was phenomenal and we always felt super safe and secure. Next time I go, I would stay here again!
