Not bad
Overall, this stay was fine for us as two people that really just needed a place to store belongings, get ready, and sleep. There were a mixture of positives and negatives, which I’ll outline below.
Starting with the good, it’s in a great location! We were close to lots of cafes and shopping and loved stumbling into an open air market just around the corner one morning. For the most part it was very quiet at night. Compared to other accommodations we considered, the price was good. The closet provided tons of room to put away belongings and try to keep things organized. The room was nicely decorated and appeared very clean.
Next, the not so good. This place was SMALL. The photos and description aren’t misleading, but we still found ourselves surprised in the space. This really only works if you’re incredibly comfortable with the person you’re traveling with. Open the bathroom door, and you can’t walk around the bed. Take a shower and the floor in front of the toilet will be wet. The Wi-Fi was terrible. I couldn’t get my devices to pick up the signal at all and my partner who was able to connect found it so slow it was useless. We ended up having to get day passes at a coworking space as a result. The bed was far from comfortable.
We didn’t have great communication with the host who never responded to our first message and the second one only after we had already checked in (via an email link which felt strange to not have come via the website).
