This beautiful chalet is nestled between majestic Ponderosa pines and is surrounded by easily accessible hiking trails. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living area with a gas fireplace, kitchen, and loft with games. Enjoy the propane fire pit on the large, detached back deck during the months of April-October. Ski lifts and the golf course are within 1.5 miles from the house and Monte Verde Lake is just around the corner for some fishing and boating. The chalet has a smart TV in the living room for your viewing pleasure. . We have fiber optic high speed wireless internet that can be enjoyed anywhere inside and outside the home.
The chalet sleeps 8, with 1 king, 2 queen beds, and a pull out sofa bed. For those with small children, we have one porta crib and folding highchair. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to either make meals simple (crockpots and a grill) to expanding your coulinary skills.
Angel Fire is a family friendly, family fun resort village for ALL seasons. Our location in the scenic Moreno Valley above 8,400 ft. gives us cool summers and abundant winter snow.
Summers provide stunning wildflowers, wildlife viewing, and a variety of outdoor activities. Mountain biking, hiking, motorcycling, zip line tours, fishing and golfing are among the favorites. The back deck is wonderful for family gatherings and some star gazing. The propane fire pit will be available from April to the end of October.
Winter brings us an average of 200 inches of snow. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, sledding. and even a horse drawn wagon that traverses right on the green belt below our home.
Located just 25 miles from Angle Fire the towns of Red River and Taos is an easy day trip for rafting, shopping, galleries, wine tasting and dining.

Parking is available on both the driveway and a parking-pad along the street. Each location can hold 2 vehicles. However, the driveway is gravel and steep enough to require FrontWD(without snow) and 4WD or chains (with snow). Additionally, vehicles greater than 18ft long, such as a full-size truck, will have a hard time turning around at the bottom of the driveway and should be prepared to either back down or up the driveway.
