„This stay was a mixed bag for our group of 4 kids aged 6-15 and 5 adults. Our check in process was not smooth but the owner was apologetic and tried to make it right. And I feel for the owners because I am sure the issues are not so much neglect as not completing repairs after the hurricane. Still, the pictures do not reflect the current state of the home. „The home is beautifully equipped, very comfortable, clean and a great layout. Our only issue was the seaweed, it seemed to be only on this beach. The beach was cleaned every morning and I know they did all they could, so not the fault of anyone, just that we couldn't really go in the water here. Having access to Oyster Pond was a huge bonus with a store, restaurant and bar was fabulous. „Walking in and seeing the ocean was wonderful. It’s a quiet area and that’s what we wanted. The place was immaculate and just as described. The beds were comfortable, the shower was awesome. This is a “must stay” place. The only negative was no hot water - until we saw the electric panel and noticed 3 switches were off - we flipped them back on and we had plenty of hot water! „This property is exactly as described and all the reviews are spot on! Beautiful home in a perfect location for walking to restaurants and beaches. We did have a rental car for exploring the island but stayed close for most meals and trips to the beach. It was quite warm, as one would expect in mid-June. Bedrooms have efficient AC that allowed for comfortable sleeping and the pool was a godsend. We’ll be back!“
