„It was everything we needed for a weekend stay! The inside was cute and we had all the kitchen supplies to make our own meals. Only cons: The adjoining neighbors porch was unkept. The yard needed mowed with trash in it. (I imagine that blew over from the neighbor's side.) The bunk bed was different than the one in the picture but still 3 twin beds. “

„I came with two friends to shop and experience Amish Country. The house was perfect. We ate breakfast there both mornings and had aupper there in evenings. Walked to main street both days and loved all the shops. Drove out in the country, ate at Yoder’s, shopped at the Bulk market, took a buggy ride. We are coming back soon.“

„This is our 3rd year visiting Arthur and staying in this home. We come back every year because the home has exactly what you need to feel at home. It is spotless. The kitchen has all the appliances, a grill, and utensils to stay home to eat and restaurants within walking distance if you want to do that. The neighborhood is quiet.we love this home. “

„Property was nice, very clean, with quiet country surroundings. Enjoyed the clip clop of hooves from the buggies going down the road in late evening. Chase and his companion gave us much attention. Bed/pillow combinations were too hard for our liking but were bearable. Wife and granddaughter enjoyed their tour of the grounds and kennels. “

„I stayed on the dock for hours: water splashed, insects chirped, large perches frolicked, herons came to visit, black scoters dove and bobbed up. Excellent golf course - Meadowview - is 13 minutes away! And two more a little further. Alamo steakhouse is 14 minutes drive; their crème brûlée is to die for! Steaks are also great :) Abraham Lincoln's family farm is 20 minutes away, so is the cemetery where Thomas Lincoln, Abraham's father, is buried. The farm is a state park, run by volunteers, ...

„Stayed with my two boys (12 & 9) and we had a great time! Perfect secluded getaway for outdoor lovers! Public beach close by and town only about 15 minutes away. House was very nice and clean. My 9 year old was the fisher winner catching about 25 fish. We caught bass, bluegill and sunfish. All nice size fish! Shooting range was also a lot of fun! Bonfires with s’mores every night. Great time, highly recommended and hope to return again.“

The access to the lake was wonderful as we had family close that could boat over .The back porch area was great and enjoyed by adults as well as the children in our group . Large yard for kids to run around with a large sun deck on the water with easy access (steps) to the lake for swimming etc. no boat dock that I found but we didn’t really need one during this stay.
