Buena Vista Guest House is a cozy stone cottage located in the heart of north Texas horse country. The house has a private plunge pool and outdoor kitchen making it the perfect getaway for a couple or family looking for a fun DFW area stay. The cottage is located adjacent to a working therapeutic horseback riding center where you can see horses in action and even pet a goat!

The perfect spot to call home!
We were visiting family in the area and this cottage was the perfect place to call home for a week. Clean comfortable, beautiful inside and out. Very pleased we will stay again!

Beautiful guest house well stocked for just about anything you'd need. Close to several city and you're totally in the country. Private soaking pool . Whole stay has been very nice. Will totally be coming back here.

Midweek Vaca for Mom’s
We had a great time. Especially loved the plunge pool. Very relaxing after a hot day. The house was small but adorable and offered all the amenities we needed. We didn’t spend much time there but slept well, beautiful shower (with shampoo/conditioner/blow drier). Was able to do a load of laundry and sit in the plunge pool with cute lighting and a waterfall. We couldn’t find the on switch and Dave was kind enough to stop on and show us right away. He was very kind and responsive. We parked our car under the car port so it wasn’t boiling hot. Overall a good find!

The property was just as listed. We were not too far from Dallas/Ft Worth sightseeing. The back porch with a jump pool was perfect. Coffee on the back porch was perfect. Communication with the owners was excellent. They responded to everything we needed. Which wasn’t much. The place was well stocked. Thanks for sharing your pets with us. It made us miss ours a little less.

Cozy quiet cottage and love the horses..goats..and pig!
From the time we pulled into the drive till the time our stay was over was peaceful, private, and so very comfortable. The bed was so comfy, the shower was hot and the outside patio area was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was very relaxing. The outside is very private with a soaking pool.. which will use when there in the warmer weather..a grill, bar and table with chairs. We couldn’t have found a more beautiful comfortable place to stay. We will stay here again! Cheers to our host!!

This is a great location for anyone wanting easy access to Denton with the quiet of country. Only 7 minutes to UNT. So clean! So comfortable! Beautiful outdoor space with real kitchen and plunge pool. Terrific owners who cared about our stay. Highly recommend!

In the country but close to everything
My wife and I stayed here to attend a wedding. This rental is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Very quiet and comfortable at night. Had no problems with Buena Vista. Check in was simple. Parking is covered and right in front of rental. It was raining while we were there so this was a very nice feature. Plenty of paper products, shampoo and soap for two people. Although we didn't need anything during our stay, the host checked on us prior to arrival and upon check out to see if we needed anything prior to departure. We would stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Buena Vista while in town for my boyfriend’s daughter’s commencement from UNT! A little chilly for the plunge pool, but did get to enjoy listening to the waterfall while sitting by the fire pit. In fact, we got engaged right there in the backyard! Thank you!

Argyle Stay
House and rear yard were nice. Several things come to mind that would have been nice to know. Main house was immediately next to the guest house. Luckily we were only there mostly to sleep. House was lacking clocks and some basic luxuries ie real sugar, foil, plastic wrap, ziplocs, cooking oil, basic spices, hot pads to name a few. I only bring this up because I've rented many vrbo's and they've had these items plus more. The twin bed had an insufferable plastic protector cover just under the sheets. This made it extremely uncomfortable to sleep as it made one of us sweat through the night. The owner also came to service the plunge pool on Saturday or Sunday...luckily we weren't there when it happened but it would have upset me if we'd been in the back trying to enjoy the yard. All I can say is the owner should live in it for a few days to see what kind of creature comforts would be nice to have in their rental. You just don't know what you're missing until you experience it yourself. On a final note, I do want to say that the process, price and the home were clean and adequate for my purpose but I just expected a little more. Thank you also for your attentiveness during our stay.

Fantastic!
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. This was just the most charming place and had everything you’d need plus more! The little oasis in the back of the house was perfect. My husband did a FaceTime with our 2 year old grandson while out by the goats and he was so excited! We were sorry we had to leave a day early and didn’t get to meet the kind host….but we will DEFINITELY be back!

Buena Vista is the name of the guest house on a ranch that uses therapy horses to help children with special needs. Wonderful spot to enjoy a bit of country life and observe a program helping families.

This house was so beautiful. We loved the front door and the skylights. There was plenty of room for my daughters and I for our Mother/Daughters weekend getaway. The pool was perfect size for the three of us and was so pretty, loved the waterfall. We enjoyed looking at the beautiful horses, the goats and pig. Definitely a great place to stay around the Dallas/Forth Worth Metroplex.

A home away from home minus the hustle and bustle of the city. Very quiet and relaxing. Plunge pool and outdoor kitchen is a plus.A must to experience for the family or by your lonesome.
