Diese Blockhütte hat alles! Ehrfurcht gebietende Aussichten von der Hütte aus, die sich in der Nähe der Bergspitze bieten. Nur wenige Minuten von einer Vielzahl von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in günstiger South Asheville, weniger als 20 Minuten von der Innenstadt von Asheville, 10 Minuten von der Biltmore Park Mall, 15 Minuten von Biltmore Village und dem Biltmore Estate entfernt. Die Hütte befindet sich in einer ruhigen, gut etablierten Gemeinschaft mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht und vielen Bäumen, die Privatsphäre zwischen den Häusern bieten, die großzügig voneinander entfernt sind. Für Wanderer und Naturliebhaber ist ein 300 Hektar großes Naturschutzgebiet mit Wanderwegen buchstäblich nur wenige Schritte von der Hütte entfernt. Perfekt für Familien oder Paare, die alle Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten von Asheville sowie Ruhe, Entspannung und einen inspirierenden Blick auf die Berge genießen möchten. Tony und ich wohnen 30 Minuten nördlich dieser Hütte, sodass wir jederzeit für Fragen oder Probleme zur Verfügung stehen.

Das Wrap-Around-Deck überblickt die umliegenden Wälder und bietet eine unglaubliche Aussicht auf das Tal und die Berge. Whirlpool-Spa in der Leisure Bay für 6 Personen mit Wasserfall und Lichtern auf dem Deck für maximales Sehvergnügen. Die gut ausgestattete Küche mit Mittelinsel verfügt über alle modernen Großgeräte: Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Elektroherd / Backofen, Kaffeemaschine (Keurig UND traditionelle Kaffeemaschine) und Grundgewürze. Eine Wohnebene mit 3 Schlafzimmern: Der Meister hat ein Kingsize-Blockbett und ein eigenes Badezimmer (Badezimmer haben nur Duschen, keine Wannen). Ein anderes Zimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Blockbett und das dritte über ein ausziehbares Tagesbett mit zwei Doppelmatratzen. Alle Schlafzimmer haben Deckenventilatoren. Es werden nur Bettwäsche und Handtücher aus 100% Baumwolle bereitgestellt. Das tolle Zimmer verfügt über bequeme Ledermöbel, handgefertigte, rustikale Tische und eine Bank sowie einen 50-Zoll-Flachbildschirm mit kostenlosem Netflix. Der Esstisch bietet Platz für acht Personen. In dem großen Raum gibt es einen Holzkamin für die kühlen Bergabende und eine zentrale Klimaanlage für die lauen Bergabende. Holzkohlegrill, Picknicktisch und Bistrotisch sowie eine Holzschaukel für zwei Personen auf dem Deck. Hundefreundlich (bitte keine Katzen), Sie können Ihre Hundefreunde zu zweit gegen eine Gebühr von 75 USD mitbringen. We needed to be in Asheville to help our daughter move and had to bring our 2 largish dogs with us. I'm so glad we found this home. The view was amazing and it was so nice to have the dogs welcomed with a dog treat, water bowls and fenced yard. The last mile of the drive was scary in the dark for those of us from the lowcountry. It was better during the day. We did a walmart delivery while we there so the drive is not daunting to the locals-being so close to those conveniences was also a plus. The beds were incredibly comfortable as was the furniture. There was plenty of room in the kitchen for us all to cook together and we had fun playing games at the table. There was even a desk I could work at while being a part of what was going on. A bonus was that everything was accessible-even to the deck and hot tub. Just a few stairs. The owners responded promptly to our questions and were very thoughtful. Excellent stay. Thank you Birgit and Tony.

My family and I stayed here for thanksgiving week and our time at the cabin was absolutely amazing. Clean, cozy, relaxing, a breath of fresh air. The views, the hot tub, the peace and quiet, the cleanliness of the home. Absolutely perfect. I texted the host at one point and told her she would have to come drag me out because i did NOT want to leave. Tons of walking, hiking and biking trails close by. I love that you feel far enough away from civilization, but just a short drive down the hill and you have everything you need. The best vacation wver.

Lovely place!
The cabin is great with all the comforts of home. The place was immaculate with plenty of clean towels, dishes and cookware. The view is amazing! The road to the cabin is very steep and narrow, so I would definitely advise arriving during the day. There is a supermarket and several places to eat not far but you do have to drive. Overall, very nice!

THE VIEW!!!!!!! ❤️⛰️
We loved our stay in this home/cabin! Just wow - the view from the expansive deck! Everything was clean, comfy beds, anything we needed for the kitchen and cooking, and did I mention the VIEW! A bonus was it is three houses from great hiking right up the street! We always appreciate dog-friendly rentals. The communication with the owner was perfect from start to finish! We will be back for sure!

Lovely cabin with lovely view. It's quite the twisty drive up that mountain and a severe driveway, so if coming in winter you'd need 4wD. Deck has lovely sunrise view and we loved looking at the mountains from the hot tub. Cabin well stocked. Really no grounds, so only outdoor space is the deck but we had a lovely picnic on it. TV was signed in to tons of apps to keep the kids etc. entertained when through playing. Lovely cabin and view. No complaints.

This spacious cabin has the most magnificent view from the wall of windows in the living room as well as the deck. The deck wraps around 2 full sides of the house and includes the cozy hot tub. Well thought out gate design for the fenced yard and deck which allows pups to enjoy the space in safety. Clean, well equipped and A+ communication with host all appreciated.

My two sisters and I go on a weeklong vacation every year. We are all in our 70's. This was a wonderful log cabin all on a single level. It is tastefully decorated with a tough of humor. You can't get a more spectacular view. The landscape seems to be different every morning. Sometimes clear as a bell other times clouds have settled in all the valleys only to lift as the day warms. The drive up the mountain is a little precarious, but you quickly get used to it. The home is well stocked with all the amenities and seems to be only 20 minutes from almost everywhere you want to go.

Definitely would stay again. Beautiful and welcoming home/cabin. Location is perfect as it literally just a few minutes away from everything (grocery stores, restaurants, activities, etc.), yet in a very quiet "neighborhood". The home/cabin itself overlooks the mountains - - - incredible views from inside the home and the entire back porch. We witnessed the morning sunrise each of our three mornings of our stay. The side porch also has a hot tub which we took advantage of every evening to relax from a day filled with activities. The inside of the home/cabin is laid out perfectly with an open concept which encourages socialization of everyone. We enjoyed the large table for our morning breakfasts and evening dinners. The cabin has a nice "outdoor" feel - very well decorated. Extremely clean. Communication with the owners was perfect, which is always very much appreciated. Outstanding cabin and view! Perfect in every way.
This is the most amazing cabin! The cabin itself is beautifully decorated for a cozy, warm feel. It is spacious, and the living room has breathtaking views since one wall is all windows/patio doors. This is wonderful, since even if it is raining, you can sit on the couch and look out at the mountains (we watched a storm one day - spectacular!). The cabin is immaculately clean, the kitchen is beautifully stocked with all you need, and there are plenty of games provided. The deck has a variety of seating options and a sunshade and umbrella so you can sit outside in perfect comfort. The location gives you complete privacy. You literally feel like you are the only ones on the mountain. The view is completely unobstructed so you can enjoy the mountains and ever-changing sky and clouds. The proprietors are incredibly responsive, answering any questions and giving helpful input to make your vacation stay perfect. Staying at this cabin gave us the most refreshing, rejuvenating vacation. Relaxing, inviting, quiet, peaceful - I can't say enough about it! Perfect in every way!

Perfect Family Vacation Home
First I need to say that Birgit was awesome. Communication from pre check-in all the way through our departure was outstanding. All our questions were quickly answered! The cabin itself is totally outstanding. It was incredibly clean, organized and warm! We had two couples and an teen and there was plenty of room for everyone. Beds and bedding were super comfortable. We loved being able to use the gas fireplace and the living room was really cozy, even though that place is way larger than you think! The kitchen is really nice and we enjoyed cooking there a few times. We even jumped in the hottub. Super fun! The views from the deck are really amazing as the cabin sits up high atop a mountain. My only recommendation to any lucky future guests of the cabin is just to take it easy going up to the cabin and down in to the driveway and you will be a-ok! To sum it all up: the place is really amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to call home while we were visiting. The location is right on the money as well. Wonderful cabin with gorgeous views
We stayed in the cabin several days over Christmas break. We picked the cabin based on its location and size. We have family in the Arden and Asheville area, and despite knowing the area super well, we had no idea that there were areas like where the cabin is located with long range mountain views. The views were absolutely breathtaking. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying our coffee and watching the sunrise. We stayed in the cabin with our four kids (ages 10-16) and two small dogs. We loved turning on the fireplace and watching movies in the family room. Two of our kids loved the hot tub. The house was also perfectly set up for the dogs because there is an area in the front that can be closed off for them to run without leashes. The cabin was the perfect size for us. The beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, including lots of countertop space. The family room and dining table easily sat all of us. The driveway is steep when you first pull in, and I can see how it could be intimidating, especially for someone not used to driving in the mountains. My husband and I drove separately, and it was easy for us to park two SUVs in the driveway.

Memories made at Royal Pines
Our family of 6 and a dog gathered for Thanksgiving! The memories made at this beautiful property will stay with us always! We mastered the drive and driveway to encounter the stunning views from the spacious deck! The welcoming gifts were unexpected and warmed our hearts. We all enjoyed the spacious living area and the fireplace was well used. Walking to the nature center and enjoying hikes was a daily occurrence and helped digest all the pies we ate. We appreciate the correspondence with Birgit and Tony, they have a beautiful property and we thank them for opening it to us!

The property was gorgeous, we loved that it was so dog friendly. Really, down to the poo bags, I left mine at home. I would absolutely rent this beautiful cabin again!! Thanks for having us, we had a great time!

Stunning Views
What a great place to stay. All the comforts of home with lotsa space, comfy furniture, well equipped kitchen, electronics, books, starter supplies, fenced dog run, and even whimsical art, etc. My personal fav though is the stunning view from the sizable deck. It's clear the owners made a great choice in acquiring this property and show great effort in outfitting it for their enjoyment and that of others with whom they choose to share it.

Fantastic!
We booked this mountain cabin for a short vacation with our adult daughters. We all really enjoyed staying here. The cabin is very clean & organized. There are towels provided for the sauna, so no need to pack them (I did). There are many games & puzzles to play & an incredible amount of great books too if you want to just relax on the back porch with incredible views. It was also nice to have hair dryers provided. This is such a good spot to venture out from. We visited downtown Asheville, The NC Arboretum (highly recommend), a couple of breweries, Linville cave & waterfall & Chimney Rock. It was nice to come back to this wonderful cabin after a day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay here again.
