Girls Getaway
College friends getaway in the mountains! The property was exactly as described. This home was well-stocked with kitchen items and toiletries. The view of the mountains from the family room is fantastic. The property manager was quick with her response when we had a question. We hiked the Appalachian Trail and played pickleball at the courts in the community. Highly recommend this place for any type of group. Thanks!

Perfect Getaway with Stunning Views
We had a fantastic stay at this home! The views were absolutely stunning, and the hot tub was amazing after a day out. The house was clean and really comfortable, felt just like home. It's also really close to the Appalachian Trail, which was a huge bonus. Perfect spot for some much-needed relaxation. Highly recommend! ---

Great mountain getaway!
We enjoyed our stay here! The area is beautiful and we would love to see it in the snow or with fall leaves. The tip on having 4WD is a good one - you drive around mountains and the driveway is quite a downward slope. We did do okay without 4WD, but only because it was dry weather with no snow! The only “issue”, which was not a big deal, was that we didn’t receive check-in instructions in the app for some reason so I reached out via text to the person who messaged about our stay asking for guest and vehicle information for the security gate, and was directed to my email. So check your email :) The house has everything you could need - the split floors provided plenty of space for all to relax or play. The downstairs was a great “man cave” for the guys to watch football and have some drinks. And everyone loved the hot tub! The view cannot be beat, especially the view of the mountains from the 2nd floor balcony while lounging on the comfortable patio furniture and staying warm with the gas fire pit. Other thoughtful details we enjoyed were the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from The Biltmore, the heated toilet seat/bidet in the master suite, the stand alone bath tub, the array of drink ware for any beverage you may want, and serve ware / dishes for a nice family dinner away from home. There is also a Bluetooth/WiFi enabled printer available. We would stay again on our next trip to the Asheville area!

The mountains were calling
We decided to get away for a long weekend and we weren’t disappointed with Wolf Retreat. The views from this house are amazing! The kitchen, and house in general, were well stocked and provided us everything we needed. We found it really nice to have access to a variety of hikes just a 9 minute drive away and within the Wolf Laurel neighborhood. We also drove 30 minutes away to Rocky Fork State Park- definitely recommend.

Couples Trip
Initially upon entering we were all initially shocked. Our first impression was, this definitely doesn't look like the pictures. The pictures were vibrant and depicted a nice open airy concept. The first level definitely isn't for younger couples. 60+ will appreciate the antique nature of the cabin. The bathrooms seem to be the latest upgrades to the cabin whereas everything else is dated EXCEPT for the basement. We learned on the first day that you must take staggered showers because it's impossible to take multiple or back to back showers. We thought the hot water was out after 3 showers. So plan accordingly if you're planning a day out. Fortunately, we were able to ask about this and got an immediate response and was able to plan for the rest of trip. The basement was the absolute best spot in the cabin. Add a pool table and everything at the top wouldn't even matter 😁 We also arrived a little early and the contact was more than happy to check on the status of the cabin. It was ready and we were able to check-in early which was definitely a bonuse after a 8 hours ride.

A wonderful place to get away and relax. It’s close enough to a variety of things to do and also away from busyness and traffic. The location is ideal. Please be mindful of the driveway and getting a running start going uphill….. We saw numerous deer each day either at the house or as we left wolf Laurel. Beautiful. Enjoyed by everyone!

Would definitely book again!
I absolutely loved this stay. The view, the decor, everything was amazing😍 My only dislike was the hot tub. When you turn on the jets, suds come out overwhelmingly. It’s like being in a bubble bath where the bubbles are almost drowning you. It was too much. Other than that, it was great.

It’s All About the View
The expansive views of the BRM are definitely the highlight of this vacation home. It was comfortable and spacious and accurately represented. Felt it was clean on the surface but after spending a few days there I think it could use a deep cleaning. A light bulb or two was out; couldn’t find a spare sheet in the den downstairs; but overall house had what we needed. My experience with the VRBO team was a very positive one. My experience with the property management team with Evolve not as great. Emails went unreturned and text correspondence with one of the contacts answered my questions but there was a lack of warmth or genuine interest in going beyond the basics.

Absolutely beautiful home with amazing views of the mountains! Loved the hot tub and sitting out on the deck at night. When we got there we had a question about the hot tub. We called the manager and she picked up immediately. She talked us through it, asked if there was anything else she could do for us as well. Plus she had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we got there that was amazing!

AMAZING
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house is decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the amazing views on all floor levels. The hiking trails were perfect for our kids and they really liked the playground at the resort. The fireplace was nice to sit by in the morning with a cup of hot coffee and in the evenings we enjoyed family movie night. Also, my husband really wanted to watch the NCAA basketball tournament and was having trouble connecting to the HULU account provided, but the host was able to resolve the issue almost immediately. Definitely recommend for a relaxing and fun vacation.

Wolf Retreat was the perfect little cabin with great views!
This cozy little cabin with superb views was the perfect getaway for my family. Not too far away from Asheville or the highway to go wherever you like. Relaxing in the hot tub was the best. The master bedroom and bathroom with its own deck was my favorite part of the house. Views were great and sunsets were gorgeous! We loved it!

Disappointed
The house was beautiful and the view was amazing! But, that’s all of the positive things I can say regarding this rental. 1. The CO monitors were faulty upon arrival 2. Hot tub malfunctioned and was unusable 3. Heater in the Master was not working properly for half of our stay 4. Coffee table in the main living space is a death trap for toddlers/infants (owner should replace immediately) 5. The hot water heater is not efficient for the house’s max occupancy of 8 people #coldshowers Although the management team was friendly, there were definitely issues that were not handled properly. For a house this $$$, I expected much better.

Beautiful views with great access to AT
This property was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. It has great views off of three decks and a nice hot tub. It's a short drive to the two on-property Appalachian trial access points (recommend the Big Bald hike!) and is about a 10 minute drive to the private community pool. I highly recommend having an all-wheel drive vehicle -- the great views obviously come with very steep roads and the gravel driveway here was difficult for us to get up even in dry, summer weather. (We ended up leaving our cars at the top of the hill on a narrow street, which could be a problem for some guests.) But overall, a nice house in close proximity to a lot of fun things to do.
