Ein wahres Stück Geschichte, die sich am Fiddlestix Village befindet, ist die Appalachian Quilt Cabin Fiddlestix's eigenem originalen 1920er Bauernhaus. Diese Kabine stammt aus einer Zeit, die jetzt längst vergessen ist. Oldtimer in der Gegend erzählen uns, dass die Familie, die einst das Haus besetzte, eine Gaspumpe vorne betrieb, verkaufte Kleinigkeiten und Grundgüter aus dem, was jetzt das Wohnzimmer ist. Antike Werbeschilder und Appalachian Kunst sind jetzt Teil der Kabinen Dekor ganz, um diese Geschichte zu markieren.
Die Appalachian Quilt Cabin war einst die Nabe eines 160 Hektar großen Bauernhof von einer frühen Vinton County Familie besessen. Später erhob eine weitere fleißige Familie neun Kinder auf dem Bauernhof, der als äußerst lukrativer LKW-Garten diente. An einem Punkt in der Geschichte diente unser kleines Bauernhaus sogar als ein Café, das unter dem Namen "The Red Cottage" ging. Jetzt liegt auf knapp über 5 Hektar dieses charmante kleine Bauernhaus dient als Drehscheibe von Fiddlestix Village und wird für eine unvergessliche Hocking Hills Gast Unterkunft Erfahrung genutzt.
