Wretched customer service, broken amenities, noisy: My daughter and I booked a 2 night stay - after weeks of hard work we wanted a restful place to be out of the way as our home went live on the market. Wrong choice of hotel. It backs up to a busy road with vehicles roaring by all night. Shower water pressure was nil. Tried taking a relaxing bath instead but drain plug was inop. At breakfast, the waffle maker was broken. No bacon sadly. After a late breakfast, and relaxing in the room, we were ready for the hot tub, as that was the reason we booked this hotel over others. But the hot tub was out of service. No one mentioned this when we checked in, booked, or when we were talking about the hot tub in front of staff - and it had been broken for a while based on the dead bugs floating in it. So I decided it was best to head home and work around the showings - at least I'd get a quiet night's sleep. At the front desk they told me I had less than 15 mins to check out or I'd be charged for the 2nd night. So we rushed like crazy to get out in time, just to be told that they couldn't issue the refund, only Expedia could. When I reached out to Expedia they told me the manager refused to issue the refund. So we paid an exorbitant price for a poor one night stay. They knew what they were doing. I will never book with Expedia again, or the poorly named Comfort Suites. I was polite and a good guest and left a tip for the room staff, and was treated like this - good luck to you.
