Lakewood Heights is a quiet residential neighborhood close to downtown Atlanta. The area is very urban and feels such - you are smack in the middle of a huge metropolitan area - and the neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying. You'll find numerous homes restored to their previous glory next to new construction, as well as homes still in need of renovation.
Our guests love how close the neighborhood is to Atlanta favorites and conferencing sites and the rarity to find such a large home so close in to the city.

Atlanta is a "car-city"! We recommend renting or bringing a car for getting around the city. Parking is plentiful at the house and relatively cheap around the city as well.

Enough space to fit us all!
This place was great. Not too far from the city or the airport. There was enough space to accommodate our very large family for my sister’s graduation weekend! The space was very clean, fully stocked and had lots of sitting space, great parking and a spacious yard! The only downside was three of the televisions not working and one being where the children were. They were willing to send someone over to fix it. We decided because of the time we were only there for the weekend so it was okay! I give this place 10/10!

This property is as advertised. The bedrooms were very large and family reported their beds slept well. Bathrooms are updated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to prepare a meal. You will need a car to get around but when my husband went for his morning walk he walked to a family dollar near by. It is located in a up and coming neighborhood with lots of renovations happening. Everything worked with no problems. They checked on us to make sure everything was fine and to see if we needed anything. It was my first ABNB experience and it was a great one. Will definitely use again when in the area.

Fun stay!
This was a fun stay with three generations of 13 of us staying at the house for Thanksgiving. The area isn't the greatest, but we felt safe and that didn't bother us at all. We had some issues with getting ahold of the company and never received the code, therefore couldn't get in until a couple of hours late. We also had a little bit of weird communication confirming the wrong house, etc. After that, all was good. A few notes: the King bed on main with private bath is the non-private bath for the downstairs as well. Also, the heat does not work well in the two rooms with Kings. Turning up the heat, caused the other side of the house to be very hot. So if you have anyone sensitive to temps, be aware it's hard to keep it consistent. They did bring over a dozen donuts to apologize. But other than that, the house is big, with a lot of comfortable beds. The kitchen is a good size and it was really great for the 13 of us!

Cute home with plenty of space
My family and i came to ATL for business and for play. It was mini reunion of our families and mom. The home was nicely renovated and had everything you needed. There were 9 of us and everyone had a bed. We did see a few bugs but overall the place was clean. The neighborhood was slightly sketchy but we had no problems. The home met all our needs and made for a comfortable stay.

The property was very spacious and in great condition. It is located very close to many attractions which made our commutes short. It's also located on through same block as the historic Dungeon Family home to OutKast,Goodie Mob and Organized Noize. So My family got to meet Big Boi personally. We hung with the locals at Ideal Sports bar and ate BBQ at Georgia Boy Rib Shack. The food was great and the bar felt like back at home. I would recommended any family to stay here. The area is urban and old but we felt safe. It was quiet and has a charm.

Perfect for a large group!
The place was perfect for all our guests. House is decorated beautifully and 4.5 bathrooms was amazing having so many people. Plenty of Room in an "Up/Coming" neighborhood.
The house does not look like much from the outside but don't let that put you off this charming place. The area looks a bit sketchy but inside it's very clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms for our group and seating was plentiful. The host was very pleasant to work with. We were disappointed that the TV's were not operational in any room--there were 5 of us with excellent tech knowledge so it's not as if we don't know how to turn on a TV but we could only get an error message. WIFI is great. Luckily, we did plenty of activities downtown so it didn't impact our stay. Just an FYI. The location is not close to anything for meals or shopping--it's a 12 minute UBER to a Kroger so you'll either need to have a car or plan to UBER. The main thing for our group was a comfortable place that was super clean--this house is absolutely that!

Amazing House and Host
We stayed at the house for my brother’s and I birthday along with 10 other people. We all slept comfortably in the house. The house was so spacious and the bathrooms were very spacious as well. We had game night with games provided by the host. The LED lights over the kitchen wall was a nice touch. I loved the swing on the porch and the driveway was long enough to fit our cars(4). It was a convenient location, stores were about 10 mins away (if even that). The host was AMAZING and the communication was EXCELLENT! We were able to do a early check in and late check out. The host even gave suggestions for breakfast spots. Just beware of the big bugs that may crawl in from the outside 🥴. Overall, we would definitely recommend this house and stay again!

Amazing Find!
I was excited when I found this house for our families to stay at while playing a tournament in Georgia. As it got closer to our arrival date, though, several people outside our group kept telling us how bad the area was that this house was located in so we were a little apprehensive of what we would be showing up to - and the google street view did not help. But let me tell you, this house was beyond amazing! It is exactly how the listing shows. Clean, open and the perfect set up for larger groups or big families. We never once felt unsafe or concerned. The neighborhood was very quiet and it was very convenient to all the different ball fields we were playing at. The communication with the owners was also very impressive. We had a small hiccup with the ac not cooling off the upstairs and within 30 minutes they replied to my email to let me know a hvac company had been scheduled to come see what was going on. They had it fixed the very next day and it was perfect for the remainder of our stay. I think my favorite part of the house was the large kitchen and island. Our baseball team has been traveling a lot this summer so we decided to get a house so that we could cook to save some money. We managed to cook every meal while we were there and it was really nice to have the large open area for our entire group to be able to gather, eat and hangout without ever feeling crammed in. With all the baseball that goes on in Georgia every summer, all I can say is, I 100% recommend this house for those families that travel together! When we come back we will definitely be renting this house again.
