Beautiful Cozy Lake Front Home with Private Dock

Enjoy a private getaway on Lake Travis in this beautifully decorated home! Wake up and enjoy your coffee while watching beautiful deer roaming the grounds! Next, you have many options for your day as this property is perfect for campfires, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, outdoor games or just a lazy afternoon in the hammock. This 1 acre lot has a large patio, 3 fire pits with chairs, a private dock for your boat to tie off. We also have a game space complete with a ping pong table. Jones Brothers Park is a short kayak away! We have a neighborhood boat launch you are welcome to use or you may use the public boat ramp at Jones Brothers Park which is located across the lake from us.
Our home is completely furnished including a kitchen equipped with plenty of cooking gadgets - just bring your favorite food and drink! After a great day on the lake, enjoy a peaceful and relaxing view from the patio and watch the sun set over the ridge. You may want to play board games, watch a football game or movie on our outdoor TV, BBQ, eat s’mores around one of our fire pits or play one of our outdoor games like corn hole, horse shoes or tether ball! We are 10 minutes to great restaurants, grocery stores and shopping and 30 min to downtown Austin.
Three bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths: we have two bedrooms downstairs - each having a queen bed and private bathroom. The spiral staircase leads you up to a loft with three twin beds and a pull-out couch that makes into a full bed and a 1/2 bath. The loft has a TV with gaming system as well.
The property has an ice chest, outdoor grill, charcoal grill and kayaks. We have chairs on the dock and two 8' folding tables in the garage you are welcome to use.
There are 2 hammocks, horse shoes, corn hole and a tether ball pole.
We are always available to our guests and want to ensure that we meet your expectations so feel free to contact us with any questions or needs for your visit.

Lake Travis is not a constant level lake. Please always check lake levels.

The property has an 8 guest limit but there is an additional $15 per person per night fee for more than 6 guests. So if you have 7 or 8 guests staying VRBO will automatically add an "Additional Guest Fee". to the quote for your stay..

House Rules:
-All guests must be at least 25 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- No bachelor parties, wild parties or large events. Our property is suited for friend and family oriented vacations and reunions.
-Only the number of guests on the reservation are allowed on
the property unless an arrangement with the owners has been approved.
- No shoes worn in the house. There is both a shoe cabinet and also a closet in the entry that can store your shoes.
-We are on septic, so nothing but necessary toilet paper down the the toilet.
- Parents/guardians must watch and be responsible for children at all times as there is a lake and dock stairs which is a safety hazard.
-Please be respectful of neighbors on the lake and comply with the city noise ordinance after 10:00.
- No parking on the grass.
- A parking map and additional guidelines will be provided prior to your visit.

This place was very nice, scenery was amazing. Sad there was no water yet but overall quiet and beautiful. Location feels secluded but only minutes from town. Only downfall is there was no propane and i wasnt aware of this untill last minute when preparing the grill, so had to come up with a different dinner idea

No Lake
We were really excited about the lake as seen via photos but unfortunately the lake was dried and looked to be dried for years. The checking in was a little hectic ( not the owners fault there was an issue with the app , the place was not clean. We cleaned and washed everything we needed from dirty dishes to dirty bedding ) most of the problems we had were not the owners fault but the app.

Great Place for Porch Conversations
The Lakehouse has no lake and obviously has not had a lake for a very long time, so be prepared for that. The host Kim was excellent and responsive to communications. The best part of the property is the back porch where we spent most of our time talking, eating and relaxing. Lots of trees to provide shade. The house is small but tidy and servicable. The neighborhood is very quiet.

Great Host and Place
We stayed here with a few friends during a weekend reunion. The house was perfect and provided many activities for us to keep busy since the lake was dry (wasn't the owners fault the lake is dry). Kim had great communication throughout the stay and even went the extra mile and dropped off some bags for cornhole when we couldn't find the original set. We will plan on being back again! Very nice home, but lake has been dry for a year or two
The home is just as it appears in the listing and it is well decorated and comfortable. The host was responsive and helped get us a new tether ball since the one on site was missing. Overall we had a lovely stay except for the lake being dry. The listing does say to check lake levels and mentions it is dry for 2022. And the check in message after booking says it is still dry, but that is after you have reserved it. According to locals, it has likely been dry since 2021. So it seems like that could be more prominent in the listing so you are not expecting to kayak at the house and have disappointed kids. I know this would possibly impact who reserves the house, but it felt like I had to do the work to figure out the lake status for what was advertised as a lake house. I bet it is really amazing when the lake has water!

Perfect Spot for Private Family Getaway
My wife and I stayed for a family getaway. We wanted to have a little fun on the lake and also have some privacy away from the resort options. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. Kayaks are a plus with the kids. Don't worry if the water is low just get ready for some mud when getting the Kayaks in the water. We are already looking forward to staying again. Very Nice and Cozy
The home was nicer than the pics show. Beds were so cozy. Had everything we needed for 3 days of our stay. My family went to enjoy each other and to relax. We definitely were able to do that. Only disappointment was not being able to swim because of the drought but not anything the hosts could help. We will definitely be back for fall or winter because even in the summer we lit the fire pit and made smores. We so loved this place. Beautiful Views so so many areas to sit outside and enjoy. My kids were sad to leave on the last day. All worth the time away with family. Thank you Kim. You'll see us again.

great place but not accurately depicted in pictures
the property was spotless, has a beautiful view and the owners are wonderful. Unfortunately there is a VERY steep hill to the back of the property and about 30 steps straight down to get to the kayaks and waters edge. The pictures give the impression you are at the waters edge from the circle campfire area. You are not. If I had known this we would have stayed elsewhere. Not a good feeling knowing you paid for something you did not give. going up the steep hill I severely aggravated a knee injury and was on crutches the next few days.

The property was clean and well-represented by the photos. The owner was quick to respond to the one query we had during our stay. As is common for the spring, the water level in the lake was too low for the dock but we were still able to use the kayaks without much trouble. Location is a good mix of being on the lake with some quiet while also relatively convenient for shopping and restaurants.

Weekend Getaway
Easy drive from Houston for the weekend. The house is tucked back into a neighborhood located on the water. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable touches in this older home. Homey decor, blankets and games are everywhere. The outdoor area with fire pit and ample seating was amazing. In addition, there was access to a dock and kayaks. If you are bringing kids, be mindful, as there are many house rules of which to be considerate. Also, this home sleeps 8 at additional fees per person over 6 occupants.
