Misleading booking information
The address on your confirmation was incorrect and I had to get directions from a neighbour. There was no check-in process. When I called the mobile number shown on the door the call went to voicemail and no-one replied to my message. I eventually found my unit. The unit appeared to be clean but on closer look the door frames were covered in cobwebs, the skirting boards were dirty and the bedside tables were caked in dust. There was no glassware of any kind supplied and I had to drink wine out of a coffee mug. There was a pile of oddly assorted crockery and a basket of dirty cutlery. There was no information in the room regarding the communal kitchen area. The owner came to see me on the second day and when I commented that there was only one tea bag in the cupboard, he told me that all those things were supplied in the kitchen (which I knew nothing about). On looking on their website when I got home I see that it says a continental breakfast is available in the kitchen. There were two boxes of Weetbix and a loaf of bread available. Would it not be useful to have a list of the communal facilities in all the units? Very disappointing.
