I had the clear impression of hosts that care and are pleasant to deal with. You can see it in the house decorations, excellent bedding and pillows, the thoughtful amusement facilities, (like kayaks table tennis, indoor cricket, darts etc). It is also apparent in things like helpful and up to date instructions, and bait freezers, bar fridge etc. in addition to more usual refrigeration. The guest comment book was full of positive remarks.
great location, a short walk to the water, which as part of an extensive reasonably shallow bay naturally warm, clean and great for swimming. The bay is clearly nutrient rich and supports great fishing. The tidal nature of the area, and the coarse firmer sand is amenable to launching and mooring small to mid size boats, particularly aluminium with four wheel drive vehicles. There is a narrow steeper section of the beach near the eco resort for launching and retrieving mid size boats but access is tide dependent. Some care is necessary because of shallow water in moving around the bay.
There is natural beauty in the area, especially in the mornings and evenings. sunsets etc.
The tariff was moderate and for weather that is short of very hot in my view was attractive.
The lack of air conditioning in the extreme conditions (40 plus) over a couple of days we encountered proved in those circumstances to be a shortcoming. That is the only aspect I could suggest could be worked towards, perhaps ultimately small split systems in the bedrooms and evaporative in the extensive larger games, but I have nothing but good things to say otherwise.
Generally, my feeling was the hosts willingness to make patrons' stays attractive, memorable and pleasant, shone through.
