We stayed with a group of 14 for a board gaming cabin weekend, including two children.
Let's get the good stuff out of the way first:
The property was clean, generally well-maintained, the sauna and movie room were great, and the kitchen worked well for cooking for a lot of people.
We really enjoyed the look and feel overall, and there were adequate bathrooms for everyone and space for everyone. We did work out all the problems we had.
So, what went wrong?
First, the listing is a little deceptive. We missed up front that two of the rooms are open ceiling, though in retrospect the photos showed this. The queen plus two bunks room is open topped, and all noise from downstairs is clearly audible in that room, which kept the kids up.
Second, the bed icons are used incorrectly. Not all the rooms and beds are in photos, so we count on bed icons to show number of physical beds in a room. A room with a single queen should have 1 bed icon, not two like this listing has. We had to scramble to deal with this mismatch.
Third, the photos show a table downstairs which was not present. W had to go bring in a folding table.
Fourth, the side guest house had ants come up from the cracks in the floor and get into our bags. The host did not respond to our exit message mentioning this, so I have no idea if they are dealing with the issue.
