An enormous recommendation for Genie House, was everything, plus more - spacious, well appointed with all amenities, cosy and warm with the wood fire, comfy sofas and beds, easy to use kitchen and laundry. Our third trip back to Byron and Genie House is the best, also perfect location. Wonderful hosts. Big thanks to owners Jeannie and Jim. Looking forward to our next escape away to Genie House.“

„The whole holiday was a wonderful experience. I wish it could have been longer, but we are already planning to return. The house was an ideal holiday home for us both and our pet dog who enjoyed the yard and the dog beach not far away. Evans Head itself is a very relaxing destination, with the beach, the bowlo, and areas nearby that we explored. The whole process of check-in/check out were simple and uncomplicated. „This is a Huge home so great for our family of 13. Everything we needed . Tho kitchen a bit small. It was one of 2 kitchens so we managed very well. Located in the hinterland with great views. About 5kms to Byron. We loved our stay. The pool is fantastic .“

„The house itself is lovely. Unfortunately I had a delayed check in (an hour after check in time) because the check in information hadn’t been sent before I arrived. I had asked if the yard was secure prior to booking and was told they hadn’t had any issues however my dog was able to immediately slip under the fence in multiple areas so I wasn’t able to leave her off lead at the house. So if you have a medium to small dog mine is 20kg this isn’t securely fenced, it might be okay for large dogs.“

„What a surprise to find a beautifully appointed, spacious apartment in such a convenient location. Newly renovated, it has a good amount of room and the kitchen is fully equipped to be able to cook any meals. Across the road from fantastic restaurants, IGA and cafes and bakery, it was easy to just wander across to get whatever we needed. Relatively quiet, you can hear the sounds of the waves and just the garbage trucks that come in the morning. Would recommend it.“
