Auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf das Meer gelegen, befindet sich dieses Haus möglicherweise nicht direkt am Strand, aber Sie können eine schnelle Fahrt unternehmen, um die Küste an Punkten wie der Seven Devils State Recreation Site zu erreichen, die weniger als 1,6 km südlich liegt. Das charmante Bandon liegt etwa 16 km südlich und wenn Sie in die Stadt fahren, finden Sie wundervolle Restaurants, Souvenirläden und eine Promenade entlang des Flusses in der Innenstadt. The view is amazing!
We loved the location and the views! However, the house leaves much to be desired. It looks like they are remodeling the place so its kind of in rough shape. The ad said there was 3 beds but there was only 2, the twin mattress was against the wall in the closet. Also, the kitchen could be stocked better: some adult silverware, decent pans or at least a scrubber to clean the ones that are not non stick. The wash machine didn’t spin the clothes. We liked the location(close to golf and beaches) and the awesome views made it worthwhile.

I see the vision
Even though the house is under renovation, the stay was amazing. The view was great and the living room was so cozy. The rooms were comfortable and warm and everything just fell into place for a perfect weekend get away. Can't wait to come back.

The view is great, the house is hurting
This property has a great view, and we enjoyed the road through a forested area to get to the house, which is very secluded. The description prepared us to find construction in process so we weren't surprised to see evidence of this on the outside of the house. However, inside the remodel seems to be in a long term dormant state, rather than actively being improved. There was a horrible smell of mold/mildew coming from the (under construction) downstairs. The windows were filthy, impacting the ability to see the ocean view, there was mildew in every window frame, the water dispenser in the refrigerator, and the window ledge in the bathroom. Spider webs in the window sills, and either unwashed/dirty or extremely stained face towels in the bathroom. There are a number of half finished repair issues in the rented living space (walls with holes, doors needing paint, peeling cabinet laminate etc). We tried to make do, opening all windows for ventilation and putting a fan at the top of the stairs to try and keep the mold smell at bay.The shower was extremely difficult to turn on/off. The last straw was when the shower knob broke in pieces while trying to turn it off. We left a day early. A deep cleaning, finishing some repairs, along with clearing some of the thorny brush on the path to the cliff edge could greatly improve this property. As it is currently, it presents a health risk for those sensitive to mold/mildew. Thankfully, management did refund our cleaning fee.

Beautiful View but the property needed work
This could be a great place to stay but it is still being renovated and the upkeep could have been much better The view is amazing but there was a smoke detector that beeped and a buzzing noise from a locked door that even when we called about it the owner couldn't get the correct combo to open it. Our son trying to sleep in the living room was kept up most of the night Maintenance was reachable to fix the smoke alarm but no one could do anything about the noise in the living room The outside light did not have a shut off switch and the stairs to the apartment needed reinforcement. All in all it could be a great place but the flaws made it a diappointment

The VIEW was amazing
I would give the View a 10/10…. The house was clean as far as floors and kitchen and rooms….and the construction downstairs didn’t bother me. However, there are some things that really need attention in the main area being rented out. The kitchen chairs were so stained we used towels to cover them to sit down. The doors on both bedrooms and bathroom need painting as there were weird stains on them. There were missing screens on kitchen window and 3/5 front windows (but honestly one had a huge hole ripped in it so that shouldn’t count). The deck has places where it looks like filler has been used, but they haven’t painted it yet. The drive into property feels like your lost in the forest and trimming of trees needs to happen as my truck was getting scrapped on the drive in….we almost turned around thinking we were getting ourselves lost! I would like to see an area cleaned out by the tree in front, it would be a great place for a seating area, right now it’s a single path thru bushes and tall grass! I gave the view a 10/10….the home a 3/10….it needs a lot of work (and I’m not even talking about the downstairs). I would have liked to be able to attach pictures to this review, if site allowed. Your definitely paying for the view on this one!

Stay at Your Own Risk
While the view of the ocean from this place is spectacular, the health risk far out weighs the view. The basement has been opened up to the upper floor and the mildew/mold smell is strong. I suffer from asthma and I was put out. We decided to give it a try anyway, since I am using all my inhaled steroids in prep for smoke season. I woke up the next morning with my lungs tight and my eyes itching like crazy. We left to go out and explore the tidal plain while it was low tide. My lungs started clearing out once we were out of the house and the itching went away. We made the determination to check out early because of the health risks. I messaged the property management via text and an email to say that we had checked out because of the health hazard the place represented to us. The only responses I got seemed to be canned responses, not addressing my concern of the health risk. The text message came over six hours after my original text, after we had gone to bed and the email response came the next morning. Besides the health risk, the place screamed dirty with unpainted dirty doors and trim and the deck railing, while shored up since previous complaints, would not hold any weight in some spots. My husband and I are DIYers and have done many remodels, this place is not in anyway looking like it is ready for rental occupancy. We had our grandson with and his first impression when we drove up to it was that it was an abandoned property.

The house was incredible as it overlooked the Pacific Ocean. It has a security system with cameras. However, please know that it is being remodeled and the downstairs was a little spooky and had exterior doors…but again, it does have an alarm system. It’s just that tenters should be aware.

Expected this rough long road to bluff house..it just didn't happened all the complaints are in my opinion are from people that need to get over themselves or Karen's...I don't have words for how much better this place is over a hotel, motel, or an Inn...it provided everything we needed and more.. thanks bunches can't wait to do it again

A work in progress
The property is beautiful, the view amazing! The house is mid construction and the finish work is not good. The kitchen has not much of anything to accommodate more then 3-4 ppl. The listing for beds is not accurate, there was a queen, full, and a twin mattress to set on the ground. The water pressure is terrible, the shower requires the grip strength of a gorilla to turn. You stay here for the view that’s it. When the house is complete from the remodel I will come back. But all the goes back to the views, the view of the ocean is amazing!

Beware!!!! Rundown house!!!!!
This home was huge disappointment and nothing to what was described on the photos on the VBRO site. If I could give zero stars I word it doesn’t even deserve one star. This is an unsafe run-down house that according to previous comments has been under construction for quite some time now. This was our first trip to Oregon and we couldn't even enjoy it for more than a night because how disgusting and unsafe this house was from the inside and out. Nothing about our stay at this house was pleasant and we had to check out the next morning even though we paid for two nights. Starting with the entrance to this house you have to drive about a mile from the main road into the woods on an unpaved unsafe road in the middle of the woods at about 1 to 2 mph. Anything faster you will damage your car with all the potholes that are there on the unpaved roads This house smells like urine as soon as you walk in, it needs tons of repairs and upgrades to qualify as a vacation rental. This place is a nightmare and seems it would be in a horror film! There was mold in the bathroom ceiling and window, dirty bathroom/bedroom doors and floor heaters, spiders in the ceilings, unpainted drywall repairs in the rooms, holes in wall, access to laundry room is all under construction, and a unsafe exposed light socket without a bulb. They need to repair and paint all the walls and baseboards, and replace all the appliances, because what's there is just garbage. There are no pictures of the front of the house on VBRO and I can see why because it looks like an abandon house. The decks and patio feel very squeaky, unsafe and unstable. They provided two cheap plastic chairs from the dollar tree for you to enjoy the patio. Again, a lot of these previous excuses to these complaints from other customers was due to construction that has been going on since 2019. Either the construction needs to be finished and repairs made or this vacation rental needs to be taken off VBRO or any other vacation rental sites because they are actually ripping off customers by these deceiving misleading pictures and descriptions they are posting. The property management company really needs to take care of the issues mentioned from me and other people who stood here in the past.

Great getaway
This is a great quiet getaway in a little house with an amazing view. We enjoyed every minute of it. There was not enough blankets and check out is too early but other than that we enjoy our little getaway!!

The view is amazing! The place was clean but the progressive remodel is inconvenient. Can't control the main thermostat. Batteries were missing from tv remotes.
