Ideally Located

The name of this area means "Old City" in Catalan, fitting since it is Barcelona's first and oldest district. Set between the Mediterranean and l'Eixample, elegant Cuitat Vella is made up of a number of smaller neighborhoods, each with a unique flavor of its own. The district is one of the most desirable places to live in Barcelona.
Barceloneta is home to Sant Sebastiàn Beach, an ideal place to surf and sunbathe. The shore is lined with tapas bars and seafood restaurants, as well as a promenade. Other neighborhood highlights include the Museu d'Història de Catalunya and the spacious Parc de la Barceloneta.
