„Was a surprise when we arrived to how dated it was but that was the charm as thats what its about. Lovely couple who have just purchased it with great plans for the place. Great food. Will be going back again“

„Es gab sehr reichliches, gutes Frühstück nach typisch englischer Art. In der Dusche funktionierte leider das kalte Wasser nicht, so dass man nicht duschen konnte. Denn das heiße Wasser allein war viel zu heiß. Das Fenster klemmte, so dass man es schlecht öffnen konnte.“

„The hotel is situated near a noisy road, by car easily accessible though. In the moment a new building next door is under construction. The room we had was standard, same as the other parts of tge hotel. But the breakfast was exceptional by English standards with fresh fruit salat and a big choice.“

„Large house with plenty of rooms but apart from the odd door closing the only other noise was from the Minster hourly bells . We were in room 5 with a nice view over the park. Only negative was the bed was not comfy. But all in all a reasonable stay.“

„Great place to stay with grwt facilities. Lovely spacious room and easy check in. The only thing was that the check out time was incorrect on Expedia to the actual check out time so had to get out of the room earlier than planned. “

„B&B erschien unter YORK - aber das es 30 Minuten ausserhalb ist, war nicht zu erkennen (für mich jedenfalls nicht). Ansonsten nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.“

"A lovely old hotel. All rooms were tastefully and stylishly furnished. Our room was very spacious and modernly furnished. The bathroom was also very nice. The breakfast was good and there was something for every taste. Only the jam dispensers were a bit complicated to handle."
