„Wonderful property. Quality decor, beds, fittings, kitchen . Spent a long weekend with friends. Beautiful big kitchen which was very well equipped so very social cooking. Large dining table leading into sitting room. Rooms was large, very comfortable with linked quality bathrooms. High shower heads, big baths. Good heating . „What a gorgeous cottage. We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The quaint features made the stay so much more interesting. The beds and linen were so comfortable…we slept like babes. The gardens surrounding the property was beautiful and allowed for an afternoon picnic with the birds. The location is awesome with hiking, winery and exploring towns in close proximity.“

„The house is clean & fully equipped. We had 2 families stayed there & the space was very comfortable with 4 bedrooms to share. The only small complaint is there are some fleas kept on bugging us around the lounge area which we think it was due to those indoor plants. Might need to spray the house with some insect spray to get rid of them. Overall, the house is spacious & plenty of space to enjoy including the sheltered backyard Thank you for a pleasant stay.“

„Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. “

„A fantastic place fully stocked with everything you need for a girls weekend in the Barossa! We didnt have pets, it was perfect for a friends getaway. I initially thought that being pet friendly might compromise quality, but it far exceeded our expectaions. Thank youexpectations.“

„We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.“

„What an amazing place!!!!!! We only stayed one night, but wished it was so much more. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with beautiful smiles, stunning wine made by Le Mas and when we were ready a guided tour of the elegant property! The beds were like sleeping on clouds, everything was available for our stay. The breakfast was a feast and my dietary requirements were more than catered for. We will most definitely be back as it was probably one of my favourite hotels to stay ...

"Kostenloser Parking, kostenloser WLAN, Parking sehr nah an Zimmer, eigenes Bad mit Dusche, Spülbecken und Toilette, Küchen zeile ausgetattet mit Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Tee und Kaffee - so zubereiten von Frühstück oder Abendessen war sehr einfach. Darüberhinaus ein Fernseher und großes sehr gemütliches Bett. Ich habe mich sehr gut vom langem Flug erholt und sehr gut geschlaffen."

"Die Zimmer entsprechen bei weitem nicht den Fotos. Die haben die besten Tage hinter sich. Viel zu teuer. Reklamation vor Ort wurde komplett ignoriert. Der Manager sollte sich bei uns melden was er nie getan hat. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen "

"I normally do not rate hotels, unless they are excellent or awful. This one was a pleasant surprise and excellent value for money. Clean, quiet, superb bed and linens, everything in good working order. And the receptionist was very friendly. Could it be any better? Well, only if you should require a microwave."
