„We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!“

„Stunning location! This feels like a home that a family has been very happy to have for decades and they've decided to share some of the joy and coziness of the property with others. The property is well maintained and situated on a peninsula on a lake that is gorgeous even when completely frozen. As soon as we got through the door we could immediately relax. Wonderful fireplace, comfortable beds..we were happy with this choice. “

„On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. „Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. „The condo was perfect for two couples. Plenty of space to cook and stay for a weekend. We got a lot of snow, so it made the driveway a little tricky, but nothing problematic. The property is so beautiful when it snows too.“

„The house is sprawling, plenty of first floor room, and a top level apartment was great for a family’s needing their own space. The rooms were comfortable and each had a lake view. The kitchen pantry was well stocked with little extras, and there was plenty of fridge storage with two refrigerators. The lake is set behind the house with a huge yard that accommodates many games. The dock and swimming area were tidy, and they had plenty of water boats (boards,kayaks,canoes) and life preservers. ...

„I stayed here for close to a month in january, had a great time. The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns.
