The 2 guest bedroom is located downstairs in the front of the property with a large bathroom attached. The bathroom extends all the way through and has an access from the dining area. The house was wonderful. The only thing that was lacking was the kitchen has no baking or pizza pans. We had to buy pods for the dishwasher and laundry detergent for the washer and dryer.

Double charged security deposit

I stayed here and the property is in a good location but I was double charged the amount for the security deposit and have yet to receive any of my deposit back. There were holes in the garage and pre-existing damage to the property when we checked in but do yourself a favor and avoid subjecting yourself to these kind of unsavory business practices, there are nicer places in the area that you can rent without having to worry about these kinds of issues…

Delightful Family Stay!

Our recent stay at the MidCity Designer Retreat was absolutely delightful! As a mother, my top priority is always the comfort and safety of my family, and this townhome exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect - nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, yet so conveniently close to a library where my son attended a competition event. We were able to access the venue with such ease! The townhome itself is a gem. The convenience of our stay made us feel right at home. Thanks to the private garage and easy access, security was never a concern. Overall, our experience was fantastic. It's a great spot for families, especially those attending events in the area. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a comfortable and convenient stay. Highly recommend!

Clean modern and safe

Beautiful and clean property in a safe area. It’s close to shopping and restaurants. We came to town to visit my daughter at LSU. It’s a 10-15 min drive to campus but we were not there to do anything on campus. It was great to be in a nicer part of town.

Good location, cool decor, good communication with owner, and plenty of good places to eat and have drinks at. A few things need some attention: •Wi-Fi is poor. Had to reset modem numerous times. •AC intake at the front is really dirty, causing some dust bunnies in house. •Courtyard hasn’t been mowed in a long time. •Rugs in home need replacing or a hardy cleaning.

Will book for all future trips to Baton Rouge

Loved staying here! The neighborhood is nice and quiet, top notch restaurants are just around the corner, feels like home away from home. We stayed here with our 4 month old, and were so much more comfortable than staying at the hotel. There was even a high chair and playpen for him to sleep in. We had access to a garage to park our car overnight, and there is the cutest court yard to hang out after a long day running around. Could not recommend enough!

I had family in town from overseas and needed a space for all of us since my home was still under construction due to Hurricane Ida. This property was comfortable, quiet and everything we needed was provided. We spent our evenings in the little courtyard which was absolutely wonderful. This property was perfect for what we needed. My daughter thought the pictures were stock photos, but the property was EXACTLY like the listing. In fact, she was inspired by the space and the decor to model her first property. The space was perfect for our family of 4. All of the amenities were perfect. We had a little bit of an issue getting access to the property initially, but the owners were excellent with quick communication and resolution. We will definitely stay again. We frequent BR at least 2-3 times a year to support our Tiger! Thank you for a great stay!
