The Space:
Lake View Farmstay by Tiny Away is a peaceful retreat by the town of Goulburn. It is a 1 hour drive away from the capital city of Canberra. The tiny house will be in its own private fenced-off area with plenty of room for children or pets, with views of the beautiful valley. You can venture out to nearby locations such as Belmore Park, Bungonia National Park, Cockington Green Gardens, the National Dinosaur Museum, and Fitzroy Falls from this getaway.
A cozy 155-square-foot tiny home set in one of the best tiny house rentals and serene locations with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the fenced area unless arrangements have been made with the owner. Horses can be dangerous, please do not enter the paddocks.

Getting Around:
By car:
- 2 hours drive from Sydney.
- 2 hours drive (140km) to Batemans Bay
- An hour’s drive to Canberra, and nearby wineries
- Reachable by both 2WD and 4WD.
By public transport:
- Train to Goulburn but will need a taxi to reach the tiny house.
- 10km to the tiny house from Goulburn.

- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- Kindling and firewood, along with matches and a firelighter, are provided in a wheelbarrow for an additional fee of $40.
- Bottled water is available at an extra cost.
- Smoking is allowed outside on the veranda
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra; weak signal for other telco companies
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Please note that we do recycling and rubbish needs to be separated accordingly.
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Pet Guidelines:
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent before arrival.
- Please inform the host that you will bring pet for your stay prior your arrival and the fee payment shall be paid directly to your host. $20 per pet per night
- Paddock for horse available at $30 per day. Use of arena. Paddock to be cleaned by guest after stay. The fee payment shall be paid directly to your host
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out courtesy of other guests
- Dogs may only play within the fenced area designated for the tiny house and are not allowed on the sofa or bed. They must never be outside this area.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
