„We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house.“

„Labour Day weekend 2023 five women had a girls weekend at this property. The hosts had many thoughtful amenities we Particularly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The location is scenic and convenient though the traffic was a little noisy when trying to sleep as the house is on a busy street. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other visit in the area.“

„We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday ...

„This was an awesome choice for a three night stay in the area surrounding St. Johns. We were welcomed with little considerate touches which included a welcome note and some toiletries, which was not expected. It was super comfortable and super quiet...not a soul in sight, which was perfect for us. Chris replied to every message i sent and was a super host. thanks!!!“

„This property was an exceptional find. Exactly as advertised but with a view more spectacular than imagined. Very clean property with all the necessary amenities. „As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!“
