„I cleaned the cabin. I wash the bed sheets and put the others on. Mopped and swept and vacuum. The cabin was very cleaned and a beautiful place. I definitely be back. „Overall I couldn’t be happier of where we picked to stay for our getaway weekend. Felt like home while we were there especially with the personalized note and farm fresh eggs. Only had one minor issue with the hot tub and as soon as we messaged the host they were very quick to come out and get it fixed for us. „It was a relaxing stay. Property is hidden away from everything but we only had to drive 30 minutes if we needed to get supplies. Pups loved the space. The only thing I wish they had was thicker blankets for the cool nights and maybe some lights around the hot tub area. Other then that it was amazing.“

„Sweet private camp 20 minutes from Hocking. Large sites, shower, porta potty, firewood, nice owner. Close to a road but little traffic. Sites were not as distant from each other as I believed based on reviews. “

„I have been around the world and stayed in 5 star hotels and resorts, NONE have given me the comfort and convenience as liberty retreat. The house was cozy, the property was beautiful and the host were fantastic! Heck , even the pets were great greeters!! “

„Communication with William was excellent. Had a couple hiccups in the original cabin and William quickly accommodated us to another cabin. Spoke to William offline of the review and offered suggestions going forward. We enjoyed our stay in the remote woods.“

„We were really blown away by this amazing little cabin on a private lake. It was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Walking trails, fishing, and a paddle boat are right on this beautiful and peaceful property. We’ll definitely return! “

„The Dome is a great unique place to stay. It's a short drive from both the the city of Chillicothe, and the Scioto trail state park. Melody keeps the place in immaculate condition, everything works well, everything is clean, and she does her best to make sure you enjoy your stay. I cannot recommend this place enough “

„The cabin was comfortable and very cute. The only thing that upset me was that the water was unsafe- even when put in the Brita Filter. It smelled strongly of metal and when I rinsed out a cup that had had it in it, it had a red/brown residue. So we had to buy water to wash hands and drink etc. But the area is really beautiful and I understand we're in the woods. It's a very comfy spot.“

„My friends and I loved staying here. The cabin and view was beautiful, and everything was in working order. My only “complaint” is that hornets kept getting into the cabin somehow (and we weren’t leaving the door open as I’m terrified of bees). There were a bunch of dead hornets littered on the windowsills too (which is why I took a point off for cleanliness). Having said that. I’d stay here again!“

„The cabin was simple but clean and comfortable. Being from a rural area, I found it perfect! The front porch was a great to relax at the end of the day. Was able to look out at the green pastures and sometimes the cows. Behind the cabin got to see the goats and sheep. My mom is legally blind and she was able to get around relatively easily.“

„We love our time at the Cabin with family for thanksgiving. The woodburning stove was great in the family room. The Kitchen was spacious and allowed for a lot of people to be in there getting ready. The property was great for hikes and walks. “

„Overall it was great. The rental was clean and had all of the amenities. Beds were ok but they could use some new pillows. We came for fall color at the regional parks but the fall color was better right near the rental. Exploring the roads in the area was fun. Try to arrive before dark, as the roads are tricky. The second to last step of the instructions you need to go over a blind hump to get to the right road. Easy to miss that in the dark. Note it’s a bit of a drive from where you pick up ...
