„Donna and Keith are excellent hosts and made my husband and I feel right at home! The bedroom (and entire home) is beautifully decorated, the bedding luxurious and king mattress super comfortable. „This island is a great spot to relax and unwind. Set in a beautiful bay with an array of fish. We enjoyed swimming off the west side of the island and managed to catch most of our fish off that side as well. The cottage has everything you need and then some. We managed to rent our own boat through Perth Boat rentals and enjoyed heading into town for a day and fishing for hours. The provincal park is a kayak trip away. „Hosts are very welcoming and show you everything and thought of everything. Very private with large grassy yard My golden doodle had a blast playing fetch and being off leach. We played bocce ball and enjoyed the fire pit as well as the lit screened in picnic table in the evening. Cabin is compact but windows let in a wee breeze. The kayaks were the highlight, kayaking to the waterfall. Happy, relaxing time 😎🐶“

„This property is beautiful. It is high on a ridge looking through trees that are very tall and cleared of underbrush. You can see the water and it is so beautiful when the sun is shining. The cottage is very comfortable with air conditioning and heat when needed. There is a porch the length of the cottage without a screen so that you can enjoy the view. „There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. And getting from the land onto the dock, had be careful not to slip with the gap. But other than those minor things to be aware of, the cottage was wonderful. „Had a lovely last minute visit with 2 friends. Beautiful moonlight over the lake, meals on the deck and swims in the lake. We canoed, paddle boarded and biked in the area - 5 kms to the recreational trail. Ceiling in the loft is probably low for most adults. Scott was very easy to communicate with“

„We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat.“

We were a bit weary when we first pulled up - the house is right next to a shoddy looking garage and a marina - but the owners have done a great job with privacy fencing and you really don’t notice it at all once on the property.
