Villa for 4 with feature pool & great reviews

Welcome to our 5th year at Casa Budaxana. We kindly ask to read all the reviews of guests who visited before you. Relax comfortably at our well appointed home with open views of the hills and the coastline. Located in BEDAR, a secluded valley and mountain village in majestic Almeria. At just over 450 meters above sea level, enjoying unique features of a pool garden. The property is on one level and is wheelchair accessible. The 12 x 04 meter Pebble-Tec (natural stone) feature swimming pool is for your private enjoyment and has the same depth throughout (1.70m). There is a nice area to sit inside the water with attractive shaded areas and a large solarium.

As a self-catering villa, you'll find everything you need for a practical and enjoyable stay. A lounge with comfortable furniture, a smart TV and wifi. The open plan kitchen-diner has a good size fridge-freezer, a gas hob & oven, a toaster, a kettle, a blender, a coffee machine, a dishwasher and a microwave. There are peaceful areas in which to sunbathe, terraces to dine al-fresco and also a shady covered porch area.

This villa has 2 spacious bedrooms. Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units. The larger bedroom has a large (1.50m) double bed. The second bedroom contains two single beds (90cm) that can be kept together or separated. Both bedrooms have wardrobes & drawers. Towels and linen are available for a maximum of 4 guests. We also provide beach & pool towels. The windows are tilt-n-turn and have fly screens on every window & door for superb ventilation throughout. There are very few mosquitos in this area. The moorish style construction remains cool & fresh thanks to shutters and high ceilings. There is one full bathroom with a walk-in shower, WC and Bidet. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer. There is a washing machine and an iron. If you are staying for more than 7 nights we will provide a change of linen and towels. Should you require extra cleaning services these can also be arranged during your stay.

There are many unique well serviced beaches just 20 mins from the villa. The scenic drive towards the south is well worth the enjoyment of secluded coves (some nudist beaches too) and it takes around 60 mins to reach the Cabo de Gata Natural Park Reserve, 90 km of stunning coastline, pretty fishing ports with diving, sailing and other water sports activities. There is plenty to explore in the local area and it is a paradise for country lovers, keen walkers and active bikers. Bedar is only 8km from the A-7 motorway, with surfaced roads leading to the hamlet of Las Majadas, located only 1.5km from the village. Casa Budaxana is within walking distance to a great local restaurant, various bars, a pharmacy, a bank and a supermarket.

The elevation and layout of the property guarantees total privacy to the Villa & pool area. The area utilized below the terraces of the villa are owners' private service rooms. Off road shared parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles.

Bedar has a variety of therapists, massage services, artisan workshops. For those interested, depending on availability, we are happy to provide recommendations.

Basic House Rules:

When you check in we will provide you with detailed instructions on the general house installations, white goods, recommendations, safety, etc.

Prior to booking please ensure you read the following 5 important points:

- Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am (although we may be flexible on certain dates)
- Smoking is allowed but we do ask to refrain from smoking indoors.
- PETS: We are animal lovers and know it is hard to find properties that accept animals. A MAXIMUM of 1 (ONE) well behaved dog OR a cat are allowed at the property and we ask you to please be considerate with furniture so please bring your own doggy bed, utensils, etc.
-We are sorry to announce that due to high risk of fire during the summer months the Regional Government of Andalucía prohibits the use of BBQ´s between June 1st and October 15th (Medida Regulada Orden Pública BOJA 29/5/2009) We provide a gas oven indoors as an alternative.
-DAMAGES: We do not charge any extra deposits for damages. We would rather keep it simple and trust our clients' honesty and integrity to let us know immediately of any malfunction or damages caused. Glassware and crockery which can be replaced by leaving us a replacement or equivalent value payment.

-Once you have booked we contact you to help you with logistics to ensure you are compliant with new check-in regulations in 2025 and to extend any local information you may require.
