„We would highly recommend this property! Very cozy and homely. The welcome pack of essentials was very much appreciated. There were six of us and two dogs and there was plenty of room for all of us. All bedrooms are a good size. Easy to get to the beaches and surrounding areas. The cottage is located in very picturesque, peaceful surroundings. We instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our time there immensely. We will hopefully be back and will take our golf clubs next time!“

„Property was well equipped. Great location for our newyear celebrations. Everything you needed was supplied. Only thing we think should been told was we shared the bin area with other cottages. It was fine but we had left things in there as was cold. But it was still ok. We just didnt know. We would definitely return. “

„Fantastic setting so peaceful with beautiful views. Very cosy well equipped cottage. A perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside. Only downside was that the next door cottage was also a holiday home so privacy while in the amazing big conservatory with fantastic views of the countryside was limited. Blinds on that side would have earned an extra star.“

„We had a lovely stay in this very well equipped and comfortable cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Situated in a quiet area within walking distance of Budle Bay, it was easy to get to many places on the coast and we enjoyed a lot of long walks admiring the beaches and scenery, visiting Lindisfarne and even taking a train from Berwick to Edinburgh for the day! We would definitely recommend staying here if you like the quiet countryside in a comfortable self ...

„If you are someone who wants to walk around a busy village, here may not be the best place for you however many places like alnwick centre are only at 20 minute drive. the rest of the property as immaculate as well as the service we experienced.“

„Beautiful little cottage. Me and my husband took our dog away for a few days in January '25 and this was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was warm and spacious with a view of the garden. The kitchen had everything that you could need and the fire was great to settle down infront of after a long day exploring This was a good base for exploring Northumberland.“

„The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things ...

Our party consisted of 3 adults, 2 children and 2 labradors and the property served us well! Plenty of room. We appreciated the call from Dawn the day before to introduce herself and to ensure we had her number in case we needed it - we didn’t!“
