Our licensed on-site cafe offers light meals and refreshments. You could even join in a game of paintball in our apocalyptic abandoned City of Purgatory.

The Space:
Lydia's Lodge by Tiny Away sits in the quiet town of Belgrove, just 44 minutes away from Motueka. A vibrant town known for its lively café culture and artistic community. It is also a gateway town of two of Nelson Tasman region's stunning national parks, Abel Tasman and Kahurangi. Mapua Wharf, Pic's Peanut Butter World, and nearby towns such as Brightwater and Richmond are not so far away.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, outdoor seating, and a gas BBQ on request. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Lydia's Lodge is approximately 30 metres away from Ryan's Ranch down an avenue of trees. The exact location of Ryan's Ranch is at Redstone Golf Park.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the golf course, licenced cafe with pool table, TV and table tennis facilities by prior arrangement with the host 24 hrs before arrival.
- We have a 9 or 18 hole round of golf or disc golf per person staying for an extra cost
- We also have a “Licensed One Shot Cafe” that serves light meals and refreshments with advance notice.
- Paintball field is accessible to guests and is depending on whether it is in use. It may be open for a few hours between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (mostly on weekends).
The Neighborhood:
Lydia's Lodge by Tiny Away sits in the town of Belgrove, Tasman region. It is one of the best tiny homes just 44 minutes away from Motueka, known for its vibrant café culture, artistic community, and gateway to Abel Tasman and Kahurangi national parks.
What's more, guests will have close access to the Great Taste Cycle Trail, including Spooners Tunnel and Kainui Bike Park. This includes exploring nearby towns such as Brightwater and Richmond, which are within 14-23 minutes drive away.

- Four Square in Wakefield is a grocery store offering fresh produce, meat, cold beer, wine and other items.
- Wai-Iti Domain, Faulkner’s Bush, Baigent Reserve and Robson’s Scenic Reserve. All of these reserves offering picnicking facilities and scenic walks

- We have a friendly dog on-site
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Clean, filtered drinking water is available on site
- Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark services are weak in the area
- Compost/recycling bins are provided to dispose of rubbish properly
- WiFi and TV are available 200 metres away from the tiny house, please ask host for more details
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Please note that occasional motor homes may park over for the night, but your view and privacy will not be obstructed.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the dam, waterways, and potentially unstable rocks on the golf course, we advise guests be cautious when exploring, and children be accompanied by an adult.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
