„We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). The owners are also super nice and friendly. We have two kids, age 4 and 9 and found the place to be very spacious and inviting. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition of staying here Friday ...

„This property is located in a quiet, non-historic, residential suburb of St. John’s about 15 minutes from downtown. It has lots of space for a family and is clean. It’s a basement suite of a house and is somewhat humid but a dehumidifier is provided which helps a lot. Very clean with everything needed to cook simple meals. A more affordable option than anything else we found in St. John’s. Photos in the listing accurately show the unit.“

„We spent 4 great nights in this immaculate jelly bean home with every amenity you need including a bbq. The bed was large and comfy, towels were thick and fluffy and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishware etc including some spices. The washing machine and dryer came in handy. There was always a spot for parking and the home is close to everything in the area. The bathroom is in the basement; being in our 70's, we had no problem but something for others to consider. „Perry provided helpful instructions on how to access his house. Great parking in a quiet, treed neighbourhood a few kilometers from the city centre. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for making breakfast and one evening meal. Everything in the house was tidy and clean. Good bed too. Perry graciously offered us suggestions on where to eat. The house was well stocked with staples and communication with the host was timely and helpful. The location was great, we could walk to downtown George Street and Water Street. „This apartment is the ideal location to explore St. John's. Next to all interesting places, from Signal Hill to The Rooms and George Street etc. It is very individual and charming. Katie is very helpful and obliging. We had a lot of fun being there, sitting on that marvellous terrace looking over the harbour to The Narrows and to Signal Hill, We really recommend that apartment.“

„We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house.“

The location is great - remember there are hills though, although that is something you have to expect when you are staying in downtown St. John's - so it was easy to walk and/or drive to so many places we wanted to go to from there; plus we never had any problem parking either right in front of, or very near to, ...
