„We stayed here last year on Friday night of the Labour day weekend as well. Great place...very quiet, out of the way of the main roads and highways. We have stayed in two different units and both were extremely clean, even clean smelling. Kudos to the housekeeper (we met her last year but I forget her name). „We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house.“

The bed was large and comfy, towels were thick and fluffy and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishware etc including some spices. The washing machine and dryer came in handy. Katie is very helpful and obliging. „We absolutely loved staying in this house! It was so comfortable and cozy; such a wonderfully quirky, character home! It was such a delight & we really felt so much at home there! The location is great - remember there are hills though, although that is something you have to expect when you are staying in downtown St. John's - so it was easy to walk and/or drive to so many places we wanted to go to from there; plus we never had any problem parking either right in front of, or very near to, ...
