Experience Up North at Shanty Creek Summit Village

Experience life Up North, ski, golf, lake from this studio unit that can comfortably sleep four in one queen bed and one sofa bed.
The unit is fully accessible, there are no stairs to climb from the adjacent parking lot to the unit.
This unit is in Summit Village right next to the hotel, and it has views at the tubing hill/ Lake Bellaire/ fireworks for 4th of July and New Year. The unit offers free shuttle to the slopes as well as complementary access to indoor pool and spa during ski season and complementary WiFi, no password needed.
During summer you get to enjoy free access to Lake Bellaire Summit Village Association beach.
Room towels are not to be used at the pool or beach; guests need to bring own towels.

After a day full of activities walk to the village bars and restaurants. No need to drive! The unit is also feet away from the Summit Village Shanty Creek shuttle stop. The shuttle can be used to travel between Shanty Creek villages and event to downtown Bellaire.
For your convenience, the unit includes fully equipped full kitchen. Please plan to bring your own coffee and anything else you would like to cook. Large size refrigerator with freezer is available in the unit as well as wood grill just outside of the unit.
The room is equipped with Roku TV with free TV options and your favorite apps.
Enough towels for four people are supplied in the room as well as hair drier.

This is not a child proof unit. Each guest is responsible to ensure the safety of their children in the unit and on the balcony for the duration of their stay.

If using the fireplace, the guest is responsible to verify that the vent is open before usage.

Up north getaway
This property is amazing, has a full kitchen which we loved. Has a main room that has one double bed and a sleeper sofa. An awesome balcony to sit outside, only downfall on that was the cushions were wet. Other than that truly enjoyed our trip and looking forward to staying there again

Great weekend
The property is in a great, central location. Exactly as advertised. It has a nice balcony overlooking the sledding hill. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of firewood for the fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location of this property fit our needs perfectly. Very close to Bellaire and to my hunting property. The owners were excellent in communicating with us and the amenities were great. If all goes well hope to be back next year!

Balcony was unusable, as the cushions had already been removed from the chairs and there were no plastic or other sort of chair that could be used. Head board to the bed was broken and the bathroom is really small. There were odd looking fabric screens hiding two side doors into other units. The doors were not lockable from the room, but I suspect residents from other adjacent units could unlock it and enter. Otherwise, it wasn’t bad, nor was it impressive.

Beautiful location in 1st building next to the Lake View Lodge and ski slopes at Summit. Unit was old and had worn carpet and furniture. Roku TV but with no cable news channels. Noisy party above us kept us awake on Friday night.

Beautiful Scenic Vista from the Balcony
The condo was lovely! The view from the balcony was stunning! Love that it had a full-size fridge, dishwasher, and 12-cup coffee maker. The only thing the condo lacked was a chest of drawers, so we could've unpacked our suitcases in the week that we stayed. Would definitely stay again.

It's a great property, clean condo and quiet building. We've stayed at another condo nearby with a different owner and it was a terrible experience. If we go back to Bellaire, we will try to stay at this owner's place again, it was great.

I'll be perfectly honest. The property was fine and had everything we needed, but it was just someplace to sleep at night. We didn't partake of any of the amenities beyond the room itself and that was just at night. The place was clean and quiet with a picturesque view and close enough to the locations I wanted to reach that it met all of my needs. I had no problems overall and would definitely be willing to stay again in the future.

Good cozy place up north
Good clean and cozy place. Loved the pool and hot tub access. This is not a ski in / ski out as advertised since the mountain was closed for skiing a few years ago. The ad should be updated. It wasn’t a huge deal to us and otherwise the stay was great.

Very nice experience.
Everything was very good. Check in and out was very easy. Great view. TV was nice, but we never did find "normal" channels, so we watched old shows at night. Also, I would recommend a real bed. It was comfortable, but we stubbed our toes multiple times on the frame.

Three major problems we had
The condo itself was nice and in a beautiful location. HOWEVER, we had 3 major problems for the 2 nights we were there. First, the balcony view was beautiful, but the door to the balcony would not open. Secondly, there were doors between the condos that were not secured, and we were surprised when our "neighbor " opened the door to our condo! Thirdly, we tried calling the phone number listed on the wall for help with these matters, and that lead to a dead end because it was maintenance for the hotel system and not for personally owned condos. So then we called Constantin and since she didn't answer, we had to leave a message asking her to call back. She never returned our call, so our problems were never addressed.
