The cabin really is right on the lake. With a grill and a fire pit we didn’t leave the house the whole weekend. The beds were comfortable and the open concept kitchen was great. State parks and towns to see are close by.

Overall great place to stay. Good location for a home base for Michigan fun. Nice kitchen. Great space for the 4 of us. Bathroom could use an updaye but functions well. Love waking up on a lake. And it was nice to jabe the kayaks. Great communication from owner.

Quiet Stay near all things Michigan
Our family and a few friends enjoyed our stay here while exploring Saint Joseph and Silver Beach before our kiddos head off to Kindergarten. The house was cozy, clean and quiet. There were lots of orchards, breweries and wineries close by, as well as the beauty of Lake Michigan! We would love to make this a yearly stay!

The house was perfectly described… The kitchen set up was amazing especially since we had some rain. Thank goodness for the awning so we could still cook. The lake was beautiful and the house was spotless and everything needed was there! Oh and the lake was perfect. We enjoyed our stay!!

The house was very quiet and comfortable. The view of the lake was great, Especially with the picture window. The kids left the kayaking, went all the way around the lake, which was about 2 1/2 miles. The newly remodel kitchen was beautiful and very comfortable.

A beautiful location and overall a lovely house. My one recommendation would be to add motion sensor lights by the stairs going down to the main entrance and by the door. Besides that we were happy and would return.

Great getaway
This property was a perfect spot for a short getaway with teens. We played golf, hiked, shopped, and just relaxed at the house watching movies and playing cards. The lake view was spectacular. The house was great for family time together but also had plenty of places for everyone to have some peace and quiet. Jim was a great host and always responded promptly to all of our questions.

Beautiful place- love the decor! The kayaks were so nice to go e plowing with. Only issue was neighbors unleashed dog coming around. Our dog is pretty laid back, but sometimes when surprised like we were a time or two with dog at our step, could be interesting. The lake has lots of weeds so not much swimming going on. Would be amazing if they could drag for weeds near dock. We went to Lake Michigan a lot to swim. All in all great place to unplug and get away.

We stayed here for a mini-vacation before the kids went back to school. My husband and I brought our 11 year old daughter, her 12 year old friend, and our 15 um year old son and his 2 15 year old friends. The place was just perfect! The girls stayed in the “best” room with the double bed, and the bunk bed room and “extra” living room were perfect for the boys!! The outside area and lake gave us lots to do, and we were also a short drive from Lake Michigan. Our host was super attentive and arranged for us to rent a pontoon boat one day. All in all, it exactly the trip we were hoping for! We’d definitely come back again.

Perfect quiet family getaway
Our family of 6 just rented this lake cabin for 3 nights. It was the perfect end to summer. The cabin is so cozy. We were only 20 mins from Silver Beach and 30 mins from South Haven beaches. We also enjoyed morning and evenings kayaking and fishing on this lake. The kitchen has everything you will need. Plenty of towels. Even a stock of things not usually provided like trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap and laundry soap. We will highly recommend this hidden gem to many friends and family!

Jim's lake house was a great time for our group of 7. He provided multiple kayaks for us to use which we used everyday on the lake. The kitchen is great for cooking meals and overall we would recommend this vacation rental to friends.
