Great house for young family
The house itself is updated with quality appliances and finishes. It has a large open area with seating at either end and dining table in middle. There is seating for 4 in each of the 2 areas. Bedrooms are adequate, updated master bath. However our check-in was bungled. The instructions were for a lock box, which the house has but isn't used. It has a state-of-the art electronic keypad that displays random numbers when touched. Office couldn't tell us how to get in, was transferred multiple times in the process, finally someone was sent to house with a key. 30 min later we were in, meanwhile perishable groceries sat in the car. Our rescuer was very apologetic and worked about 15min on the electronic keypad to figure it out, which let in a slew of flies. I was appalled to find out that not even toilet paper was in any bathroom. The next evening we found that none of the TVs or Dvd player worked because there no batteries in any of the remotes. Then the towel bar in the bathroom fell off the wall. Did I mention the linens package does not include any hotel-style bath mats? The master bath has a tile floor, slippery when wet. Sent message to host Coastal Resorts, no response. Next day I called office, turns out they only respond during office hours 9-5. Did we like the house? Yes. Did we have a good experience? No.
