„We were warmly welcomed when checking in and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great - delicious and large portions at dinner and a good breakfast the following morning. Our only minor complaint is that the room was on the cool side and the heating didn’t work. “

„Die Gastgeber waren freundlich, das ganze Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer waren die sanitären Anlagen überholungsbedürftig, die Dusche funktionierte nur wenn man sie durch Ziehen an einer Kordel einschaltete (was wir nicht wussten, und dadurch wir die Dusche nicht benutzen konnten) ein schriftlicher Hinweis im Bad wäre sinnvoll. Das Toilettenpapier hing hinter einem, so dass man sich verrenken musste um daran zu kommen. Das Frühstück war gut.“

„Amazing old building nestled in some peaceful woodland. Great breakfast, excellent produce, poached egg was perfect, lovely fresh bread. The room was extremely spacious and well decorated. Comfortable bed and good shower. Great to have free parking in Ilfracombe too. We ate breakfast each morning while watching a multitude of birds through the breakfast room window. “

„Property was lovely, amazing view over the sea/harbour. Lounge was very spacious. The kitchen had good amenities, oil, salt and pepper etc. We will definitely return!“

„The booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were £35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets.“

„At first as we arrived around 4:15pm our room wasn’t ready but the reception sort it out. I tried to call the owner before that but the owner no response till we left. The flat is ok but its a building flat so we have neighbours upstairs and downstairs also at the side. Its like compound of flat not sure how they called. When someone walking upstairs you can hear them badly specially in the night so as our floor, its really not relaxing but frustrating. Having said that, in the restaurant and ...

„We got there for 4:45pm and our room wasn’t ready, apparently, apparently check in is “from” 4 and doesn’t mean it will be ready at 4 ???? This is the second time we have stayed, we previously stayed when it was under a different name, there has been lots of improvements though and you can see they are trying to make it better. We only used it as a 1 night base because we had plans for days either side, was perfect just for a 1 night stay asking as you prepare your self for no thrills. Kids ...

„Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis Sehr gute Lage Leise wenn man mit Badezimmer bucht Man kann Probleme bekommen in der Nähe zu Parken Decken sehr niedrig (vor allem im Bad) Kein Frühstück aber über Restaurant Ideal für Sparfüchse die in Brighton Party machen wollen Internationale Gäste“

„I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. "Das Hotel liegt zentral im Ort Ilfracombe. Egal ob man auf dem Coast Trail wandern möchte, im Ort ins Restaurant will, bei Lidl einkaufen oder zu Hafen: Es ist alles fußläufig. Parken kann man kostenlos in den Seitenstraßen, wenn man bereit ist ca. 1 km weit zu laufen oder sich etwas länger auf die Parkplatzsuche zu begeben. Das Hotel selbst ist sauber aber renovierungsbedürftig. Unser Zimmer war preiswert aber dafür klein und mit Blick auf einen Innenhof (daher sehr ruhig). Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel selbst wird überwiegend von Golden Agers besucht. Dementsprechend ist auch die Live Musik am Abend ;-) Dank Lidl um die Ecke haben wir auf Verpflegung im Hotel verzichtet."
