„Buckhead cabin retreat was perfect, it is perfectly located within a couple of minutes of several boat ramps. Not sure of the age of this cabin but it appeared to brand new, that’s how clean everything is.“

„Two guys needed a place near the water for a week long fishing trip to Lake Okeechobee. This property fit the bill nicely. It was extremely clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to where we were fishing. The property manager responded very quickly to any questions we had. Parking is somewhat tight for a truck and 18 foot boat trailer, but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again.“

„Our trip was amazing. We loved our views with the canal as our backyard. Very quiet only heard the wind an occasional boat and palm leaves waving in the wind. If you want beauty and peace it’s the place to go. We already scheduled Thanksgiving holiday here. Our host Joyce is beyond helpful and kind. 5 stars “

„Very Clean, There is some type of cold-water issue. New faucet was put in on the kitchen sink while we stayed. Sometimes cold water and the other time none came through the cold-water line. Very slow on return of Security deposit been two weeks and still not took care of. Parking was an issue when the other guest got there with car and truck with boat and trailer took a lot of space up. Especially when there was a pontoon parked in the driveway on the side we had to park. Trying not hit the ...

„It was a great stay! We loved how close to the lake it was and local boat ramps. I’d only suggest continuing to update the floors and color of bedding and furniture and it is dark and just doesn’t match the lake feeling/mood. Also, please purchase a mixer and measuring cups for those who like to cook while on their stay. Neighbors were quiet, just not alot of room to park the boat if you are looking to bring it back with you everytime after fishing. Thank you for letting us stay!“

„If you are looking for an affordable place to stay and fish Okeechobee this is the place. Plenty of vehicle and trailer parking. Minutes to the boat ramp for easy lake access. Nice dock to relax and cast a line, plus fish cleaning station. Cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable. I also enjoyed the nice quiet neighborhood, and the host is wonderful. Highly recommended.“
